Oops, I've been having so much fun that I haven't had time to blog in the past week.. heheee lemme do a recap:
So I left off at Wonderland...
+after Wonderland, we went on a 3 hour drive to Kingston and arrived at Jason's and Flora's at around 11pm. After playing Big2 till 4am we finally went to bed...
+The next day, we went to the RCM gym only to find out they have a formal going on so we won't be able to use their badminton courts for practice. We walked out to Kingston Downtown and did a little bit of shopping instead. Stores in Kingston are so cool!! They have cool clothes but they're very pricey. We spent a lot of time in a toy store called "Minotaur" which sells all kinds of board games, toys, etc... and also in a candy store where Braz got scorpion candies. After that, we met up with Jason and Flora for dinner, then we headed out to the theatre for The Da Vinci Code. The movie was not as good as the book, as expected, but I liked the effects they did and they did a good job casting people. The only person I didn't really like was the Pope... why'd they have to get Octavius to play the role? =P
+On Sunday morning, we went on another 3 hour drive over to Montreal. We dropped off Wilson, KSo and our luggages, then went back to return our car and pick Jenn up. The taxi driver there needed some anger management class... he got mad at us for not answering his questions quick enough. I mean.. we ARE tourists.. give us a break...
After getting to the hotel we slept through the afternoon and went out to get some groceries at IGA. That night we had noodles for dindin and called it a day.
+The next morning, I woke up for breakfast just to find that Braz already got all of us food... *thanks braz!* hehe But Wilson, KSo and I still went downstairs for breakfast so we can save the food Braz got for Jenn/lunch. Breakfast is sooo good there! There were fruits, cereal, yogurt, juice, milk, potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes and waffles, etc... I decided to wake up every morning for the breakfast and go back to sleep after. =P Darryl msged us to ask if we wanna go shopping with him... kSo and Braz went while Wilson, Jenn and I slept in. We were gonna join them, but they went to get food and we ended up spending an hour in a store called "Urban Outfitters". They have very interesting (in a good way) clothes there! We spent so much time scrambling through the sale section and each of us got something for ourselves. =) After shopping, we went to Atwater Badminton club to practice for a bit and get used to the court. Fur and I were still half asleep and didn't play very well, but it was still fun just hitting. For dinner, our bunch, I believe there were around 20 of us, went to Bar-B Barn for Ronne's birthday dinner. They are famous for their ribs so Jenn and I shared a "Whole hawg"... =D it was GOOOOD!!! mMmm... Braz gave Adrian the "toy" he got him and everyone had a good laugh at it... after dinner, Elisha invited us to go over to their hotel to play Taboo, but once we got back to our hotel, Jenn and Wilson were too tired they fell asleep so we just called it a day.
-On tuesday, once again Wilson, KSo and I woke up for breakfast this time with Jenn also. We went to watch KSo's singles game against Gentil Pich, and KSO kicked ass! hehe good job!! After that we headed out to visit McGill University. The buildings there are quite nice.. hehe although I like those of UPenn better, but the bookstore closed by the time we got there so we couldn't buy any souveniers. We decided to walk back to our hotel and we shopped a bit at Simon's. We all tried on different sunglasses.. hehe it was quite fun! When we passed by Urban Outfitters again and Wilson and I both got some more stuff from them. After that we stopped at a crepe place and KSo treated all of us to crepes cuz of his victory *thanks KSo!*.. then we played a few games of photohunt. Jenn and I made pasta for dinner... mMMm.. pasta... afterwards... all I remember is Jenn and I yelling at Wilson to tell him there's a sex scene in Basic Instinct. Haha...
-On wednesday, we went for breakfast then KSo headed out for his singles match. Unfortunately he lost his match, but we joined him at the club after for our Mixed doubles matches. KSo and I lost to the third seed L. Wong and Jenn Lam playing in the court right next to the audience. Boy have I never felt like I sucked so bad before... every shot seemed like a mistake. >< And worse yet, I tripped over KSo's leg and slightly sprained my ankle.. booo... Wilson and Jenn lost their match as well, that day was definitely not a good day. Afterwards we went to Soupebol for dinner... all i can say for that place is that it's expensive... =P AFter going back to the hotel, Jenn and I woke KSo up cuz we kept talking, hence the beginning of the pillow fight. Wilson and KSo stole all our pillow and eventually they took our blankets as well. >< Finally I surrendered at 5:30am when Braz woke up and resolved to sleeping outside on Braz' bed instead. Damn guys, they each took a bed to themselves and had a good night's sleep while us girls shared one pillow and blanket for the night. Grrr....
-On thursday morning, we still woke up for breakfast after 2.5 hours of sleep. After Wilson and KSo played (and lost) their doubles game, we joined Michelle, Elisha and Luke to tour Old Montreal and China town. There were a lot of nice buildings and interesting shops, and then there was the really huge church that we didn't get to go in. Can you believe I actually got to eat "lung so tong" at Chinatown in Montreal? Hehee it tasted okay... anyway, after touring around for a while we had to head back cuz Jenn and I have our doubles match at 8:30. Jenn, Wilson and I stopped by McGill to pick up some souveniers from their bookstore before heading to the club for our match. Fortunately this time we got to play in one of the courts away from the audience, and most people left cuz it was the last game of the night. Jenn and I pulled through taking the match 15-12, 15-6... we were losing our first set 0-11 and we caught up. WOOT! Hehee.. took down the third seed.. =P Thankyou Jenn for everything... =D This must be the happiest match I have ever won... thanks for believing in me and no thanks to peeps who betted on how badly we'll lose. =P j/k... haha honestly, I didn't expect to win either. After that game, this time Jenn and I treated them peeps to crepes and we played more photohunt after. We broke the record for 2 machines... hehehee sooo good! Jenn and I also played some guitar, drums and DDR before heading home...
+On Friday, after breakfast KSo and Wilson left for their doubles consols final match, and I got a wakeup call from KSo telling me that mixed consols is in 1 hour. So I rushed over and we won our mixed consols match, only to find that we're playing Wilson and Jenn in the finals. LOL... so after all our matches, we took some pictures, headed over to Darryl's room and had pasta and pizza. We finally UNO-ed a bit... haha that was fun. I still remember Alvin going "KSo's juggernaut... Nestor is leech-- he has no power but he takes other ppl's power away". LOL... afterwards, Darryl, Ronne, me, Jenn, Wilson, Braz, Elisha and Jessy played "Between the sheets". I still can't believe that when Darryl was dealing, he managed to POLE everyone at least once... all 7 of us including himself! Holy.. the pot grew to like $30... it was crazy, and Darryl won most of it. Haha... then we moved to Alex's room cuz we were getting too loud, where Jenn and I lost our $5.50 and decided to go back and sleep. zzZZz...
+On Saturday, after breakfast, Wilson, Braz and I went up to the hotel penthouse and swam for a bit. Hehe it was fun to swim again after not swimming for so long... and both Wilson and Braz did some dives. hhee.. Elisha joined us after and Jenn went jogging... when we were done, we headed over to Atwater to watch all the final matches. BC ended up taking 3 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze out of 6 games, that's 50% of the medals!! LOL good job everyone!! And yes, Jenn and I got our bronze medal...=D So proud! hahaa... After that we napped for an hour in our hotel before heading out to the banquet. The food was quite good I thought.. but our table was rather bored cuz we didn't know many ppl there and the music was a bit too loud for us to chat. On the way back to the hotel after the banquet, I twisted my ankle again >< This time I stepped on an uneven pavement while I was chasing after Wilson to punch him. Damn that was not good... but it's ok Wilson I shouldn't have blamed u for that.. -_-;; so stupid!!! After icing my ankle for a bit, we went out for more photohunt... this time the record in the third machine was too hard to beat, especially when we're missing our key finder KSo.. hahaa... we didn't even make it onto the record... >< While Braz and Elisha played VT, Wilson, Jenn and I walked down St. Laurent and saw a lot of clubs and pubs... hehee Jenn spotted 2 girls on the 3rd floor of a club grinding against the window in skirts... haha interesting sight. After that we played some UNO at a cafe before heading over to Darryl's room. Luke came back from the strip club where the guys got him 4 strippers... lol the "no no-touch rule" made Luke very happy. There, Jenn, Wilson and Elisha started drinking Corona's with Ronne and I went back to my room. Braz, Jessy, Ronne and Luke stopped by at the Ontario girls' room where Conrad, Andy and other ppl were playing some sort of stripping game... haha that is right across from my room too. Luke must've had a helluva happy night. Hahahaa
+After 2 hours of sleep I woke up and we all headed back to Vancouver... luckily, Wilson and KSo got onto Charmagne's direct flight back so they didn't have to wait 7 hours at the airport. Our plane was pretty packed too, I basically slept whenever I was on a plane. And that concludes my trip to Toronto/Kingston/Montreal.. ah it was majorly ass-kickingly fun indeed!! Hehee... I didn't want to go home... and now I can't wait till Japan...
-I think I have finally mastered the art of not sleeping enough and also the skill of waking up when I need to.. =P Throughout these 6 days in the Residence Inn, I actually woke up every single morning at 9am for breakfast... haha very impressive record for myself to take note of...
-Talked to Conrad for a bit before my doubles game... he's actually not as inch as I remember he was. He was really nice to me this tournament! Haha... it's cool....His sister Tammy, on the other hand, seems very "inch"... ><
-Got Wilson hooked on to Hardgay this trip.. ahahahaha he wouldn't stop doing HG imitations now... hahaha it's sooo funny..."HOOOO~~~~", "Say say say!!", "Hit me!"
-Reflections on my ankle rolling: (this is of course, entirely my own opinion so I'm sorry if I offend any of you) When I rolled my ankle, my first reaction was of course pain, and I wanted very much just to let loose and let other people take care of me. But at that instant, I felt that I didn't want to be one of THOSE girls who are dependent on other people... I wanted to be strong... I chose to 咬實牙關自己行返酒店. Of course, choosing to be independent I also choose to accept the consequences which follows the fact that most guys always, ALWAYS like girls who are dependent, "deh" and those who can never learn to do anything themselves. Very well... towards this fact 我承認但不會妥協. I will never be able to stand girls like that.. this incident caused my 20 minute reflection and I am never more clear on what type of girl I want to be. I only wish that.... someday............... *i will leave this paragraph at that*
-I really like the city of Montreal.. well downtown Montreal at least. The atmosphere there is so nice and friendly, all the shops there are cool and if you look hard enough, you can always find great clothes that are cheap (unlike Vancouver). The only regrets of this trip is that I didn't get to go clubbing or try their poutine... =(
==============================
Ah! So refreshed after having 13 hours of sleep last night... 0_0
hehee... after seeing the chiro he fixed my ankle up and said I should feel better tomorrow... although my ankle joint is very loose right now. ><
Hmmm... 32 days left before my departure..
I'm going to start a new blog about life in Japan... @ RozInJapan.blogspot.com.
That blog will only be updated while I'm in Japan about Japan.... =)

Oops, it seems I skipped a day of recap in Toronto...
On the 18th, instead of going to Wonderland we changed plans to visit CN Tower instead. That was definitely a GOOD change because it turns out that Wonderland wasn't open on thursday.. hhaah
Anyway.. i met up with Frank and Christine @ CN Tower for lunch.. neither of them changed much. =) I'm rather glad that Frank is still the old Frankie Jung that I know. hahaha didn't change one bit. After lunch, we toured around CN Tower and Anton joined us as we toured around DT for a bit... walked to the subway station and back.
After that, we went to Markham and we went junk food shopping for a bit... then we got dinner @ the food court there and went to Lee's badminton for some practice. I think all of us were pretty tired from the trip cuz everyone was not playing their best. Braz and I played a game against two kids from Lee's Badminton.. haha we lost to them but it was a fun game. My backhands were like.. crazy that game... everything went over very tightly and some rolled over. =P haha the only thing was I couldn't smash. ><
Afterwards we went back to Oak Inn.. and chatted... till 7AM... hahaha that was pretty crazy. We slept at 7am for around 5 hours and then we headed out to Wonderland...
Today.. I'll update later.. cuz I gotta wake up in 4 hours... frick...
goodnight.

Wonderland totally KICKED ASS!!! =D =D =D!!!
hahaa.. after the rainy 2 days we finally got some SUN and nice weather today!!! WOOT! Went to Wonderland and spent the whooole afternoon there after getting kicked out of our hotel (literally)...
Wilson and I went on almost all the roller coaster rides while Braz and KSo chickened out on some of them.. =P hehe...
The BEST rides were: 1) The Italian Job 2) Wild Beast 3) The Bat
The WORST rides were: 1) Top Gun 2) Dragonfly
This is the most well spent $34 (original price: $55) of the trip!! =D hehee We were there from 1pm - 7:30pm and it was well worth it.
We all had our own weaknesses: KSo is afraid of spirals, Braz is afraid of drops, I'm afraid of spins and Pirate ship, and Wilson is afraid of.... nothing?? lol Fearless Wilson.
The only ride we repeated was the Timberwolves Falls, the one where we get splashed all over...lol then there's a special feature video on Wilson and KSo with them getting splashed on the bridge.. hahaha
Will post pictures later....
*I didn't know that it's the first time Braz is on a roller coaster.. lol GOOD JOB BRAZ!!!

:Us before getting wet

:Us after getting wet... XD

I'm in Toronto right now... hehe with free wireless internet @ the hotel..
It's great! Even cheap hotels here have free wireless internet. =D What more can you ask for.
Yesterday I landed in Toronto and stayed in the airport from 12am - 12pm... doing what?
-Calling hotels up asking for rates and airport shuttles
-Calling that damned info desk who NEVER picked up
-Thanks for FRANK for helping me look for hotel info when I called him at 2am in the morning... haha u the best.
-Wilson and KSo BADDYING in the airport lobby at 2am LOL
-Took the bus to terminal 3, got some food...
-Big 2-ed from 3am - 8am, I ended up winning and Braz ended up losing the most.. haha so funny when me, Wilson and Braz cooperated to "chao" KSo... lol
-at around 8, got some food then took a 2 hour nap
-Got our car and headed to our hotel!
-Arrived at Oak Inn and napped for 3 hours
-Had lunch at Macdonalds... Wilson had a rather interesting smelly experience in the washroom there. Hahaha..
-Headed out to Niagara Falls... it was raining cats and dogs... Braz and I brought our umbrellas but left them in our luggages. -_-;;
-Watched some beautiful scenery once we got there... tempted by M&M tees that cost $35 each.. ><
-FREE parking at casino.. haha... that's the best
-Had dinner at Lucky's at the casino... mMmm.. Prime Ribs was GOOD.
-Headed back to the Falls for some night illumination scenery.. it was beautiful. =)
-Went back to hotel at around 10pm... exhausted...... but had fun. =D

-falls with night illumination.. so pretty. =)
Hahaha..
-Headed out to Niagara Falls... it was raining cats and dogs... Braz and I brought our umbrellas but left them in our luggages. -_-;;
-Watched some beautiful scenery once we got there... tempted by M&M tees that cost $35 each.. ><
-FREE parking at casino.. haha... that's the best

Happy Mothers Day!
Bro and I chipped in for a miniature pot of 12 dry-freezed roses bulbs... =) They look sooo adorable but my wallet is bleeding horribly from it. ><
Hope my mom liked it! =D
finally.. a dream that's not about.... but this was in no way a happy one either.
In my dream... there was a "God". People either believed it was good... or that it was evil. "God" can take the form of anybody, it can use anyone who believes in him. But in the dream, "God" resides in a bed most of the time, but "God" cannot be seen by human eyes. In my dream, I didn't believe in God. There was a woman who didn't believe in "God" either.. but "God" wanted her baby. It subducted her baby, placed him on its bed and lured her into joining his clan. For some reason Cecelia Cheung was in my dream... (she was reeally pretty in the dream... hmm)and there were a few others who didn't believe in "god" either... we all tried to escape from IT..... but...........
Updated list of movies I want to watch:
May
Brokeback Mountain (rental)
Hoodwinked (rental)
MI:3
Lucky Number Slevin
X-men: The Last Stand (X3)
The Da Vinci Code
Over the Hedge
June
Superman Returns
July
(noo I won't be here anymore... hopefully they show these in Japan)
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
================
Bro left yesterday afternoon to HK... flight was delayed so he missed his connecting flight to HK. He stayed in a hotel in Japan... hmmm.. too bad I'm not there yet, or he could stay for a couple of days and I can bring him around. =P Well I hope he'll have fun in HK... =P and that he'll get his lazy ass around to changing his ticket so he can come visit me. hehe.... (and hope that I get the week long vacation in August (called Obon) too!)
Watched Lucky Number Slevin last nite w/ Fur, Braz, Wabchai and Ronne..
*warning: may contain spoilers so those who wants to see it, skip this paragraph*
It's not as bad as KSo made it sound.. =P I actually thought it was pretty good although it was a bit confusing until the end (but I think that's intentional)... plot was a bit random but I liked how they strung everything together in the end. Plus half-naked Josh Harnett for 20% of the movie was great.. although it could've been better if he worked out some more. Worst part of the movie was Lucy Liu... began to dislike her very much when she giglled after making out with Slevin... *shudders*.
Now I'm looking forward to watching Da Vinci Code and X3... and all the other movies I listed, but I only have 2 movie coupons left. >< Boo....
Interesting chats with Wabchai during the ride there.... haha
seems like everyone were upset about their games during group training eh? Haha I thought mine were okay... just thought the combinations were weird.
For ex.. me & Braz vs Fur & Ida?? Haha poor Fur was running all around the court to cover auntie Ida....
And Darryl trying to get Wabchai to play with Jessy regularly.... hmmm that's gonna be tough... haha....
Training yesterday was okay... the only thing I really liked about it was the warm up actually. Hehe... it made my quads soo sore from the lunges and frog jumps.. I haven't felt that kind of soreness from training in so long.
Gonna go bike the lactic acid away today... =)
Sometimes it frustrates me that people I care about don't take proper care of themselves.
...I'm gonna leave it at that.

Why would you go for something that's slower, just cuz it's NEWER??
Frick... sometimes I just frustrated by his lack of knowledge about this and yet all his decisions are of good intentions.. they just don't turn out to be good decisions.
Argh I just really hate it when people do things they're not supposed to do and waste all the work I've done. ARRRRGHH....!!!
I need to get my touch back....
Wilson's right.... we've become less compatible because I've lost my "softness".
How to upgrade my soft touches without losing my hard touch??
hmmm..... I guess I need to spend double the time on practising then...
Been so lazy.. haven't jogged at all this week... maybe... tomorrow.
Funny...
I think Shen is a nice guy but he doesn't really like talking to me, but Keith is really fun to hang around with...
On the other hand, Jenn thinks Keith is a nice guy but he doesn't really like talking to her, but Shen is really fun to hang around with...
hahaa we are exact opposites.....
====================
Braz it's not that I want to worry about it, it's that the problem keeps on appearing in my dreams where I have no control over.
Although I have heard that dreams often reflect the opposite of reality...
So that should be good for both of us... right?
Armpit muscle cramped up again last night...
I think I didn't stretch it enough... >< and trying to do too much before I'm warmed up. ermm... better get it fixed before Montreal. Hehe...
Nationals jacket.. actually, I quite like it... hehee why doesn't KSo like it? "cuz he doesn't look good in it" =P hahaha just kidding... who said that? lalala...
Picked up a few things today...
maple leaf shaped ice-wine chocolate... maple syrup... =)
Funny thing is that since I just renewed my driver's license, I only had a temporary one and the liquor store wouldn't accept student card, so they let my younger brother in but not me.. how ironic...

Dentist Appointment @ 9am
I arrived ON TIME for my NINE A.M. appointment... hehe so proud. Also, my hygenist told me that my gums improved from the last time she saw me, and that my measurements (for my gumline recession) is getting better. =D Also, after 2 years I still have NO CAVITIES! WOOT! hehee... took 4 x-rays for my wisdom teeth... the doc said I don't have to take them out unless they are hard to clean or if they elongate (which would mean I'd have fangs in the back of my mouth.. muhahah...). Teeth cleaning this time only took ONE appointment, and it was comparatively much less painful than 2 years ago!! YAYY!!! I'm actually feeling quite happy after the appointment, although her desensitizing device ran out of batteries so I had to endure a short while of uncomfortable teeth sensitivity.. *shudders*..... ><
Total cost: $120 Cost after deductions: $53 =D
Optometrist Appointment @ 12:30pm
Damn Patrick Woo... he dilated my pupils without telling me... all he said was "濕一濕隻眼" and he friggin dilated my eyes and it's STILL dilated after 6 hours... @_@. For those who don't know wat pupil dilation is, it's this tear-drop thing they put in your eye so your pupils are widened. After dilation your vision is blurred and you're much more sensitive to sunlight. Since he didn't tell me that he dilated his pupil and he thought "你隻眼會有少少朦" was good enough of a warning, I didn't know until I started driving and I *shamefully* ran my first red light cuz the bus cut in front of me and I was trying to get shade from it while he ran a yellow light. Holy frick... without shade... I couldn't open my eyes at all... my eyes were like 90% closed...I tried leaning my head backwards but that just made my eyes want to close some more. Damnit Patrick.. almost got me killed!! Grrr... on the other hand.. the good news is that my prescription did not change at all over the past 2 years... yayy!! Bad news... this friggin examination cost me $65....... @^@*&^
Hair cut Appointment @ 3:15pm
Went to a hair salon called "Backstage" and looked for a hair dresser called Albert (recommended by Bearz).. hahah... I ended up not getting bangs because he said since I have a short forehead (aw..) I need really long bangs for it to look good which would require frequent trimming... haha so I guess I can ditch the idea of "bangs"... Anyhow... I thought Albert was pretty good... very 有心機... I would definitely go back there for my next haircut. =)
Cost: $30
Heading out to watch Lost @ 8:30pm... =)
=============================
Just downloaded and watched the videos from Karaoke with CJP peeps..
hahahaa... it was hilarious!! Everyone was dancing in that tiny room... I guess we gotta give credit to Neil for sneaking in all that cranberry *cough*booze*cough* juice. LOL... we had so much fun eh? Can't wait till JAPAN!! FOOOOOH! (Hardgay style)
Tonight's Lost session consisted of
1 Lost episode
1 Sushi documentary
4 Hardgay videos
1 Destiny's Child interview (duno the comedian's name?)
Haha... very interesting indeed... =P

Finally met up with Jerry again after 3 years..??
Hehee it was cool.. Jerry still acts like Jerry... still is "shy guy" 一名... hehee
The funny thing is that he watches "Lost" too!! So unexpected... perhaps this is what you call 緣... hehee we'll be inviting him to get "lost" with us every wednesdays... =D
Watched MI3 with Teo, Elisha and Wanyee on saturday... it's actually pretty good!! Haha I like Tom Cruise's idea of getting a different director for each sequel... that way every sequel will have a fresh taste to it.. =) The ending was quite predictable, but hey, there were lots of action so I'm not complaining. Tom Cruise is still hot even though he's grown pretty old.... I thought Maggie Q's performance was quite outstanding!! Hehe she did a good job as a rep from HK! And Teo will never find out wat a rabbit's foot is... hahaha...
Had private lesson with Ronne on Monday..
I think Ronne pin-pointed exactly where our problem was... is that when we do rotations we're looking too much to rotate all the time... so we lose a lot of chance in attacking, and we reveal weakness during transition... hmmm!
That's great.. hehee I think we could improve a lot after we grasp this concept of rotation better... =D And of course I need to improve a lot on other things as well... my backcourt still sucks like hell... ><
Went junk food shopping with Fur after private.. hehee got $30 worth of junk food again. But this time I don't think I'll have much time to eat all of them so I'll save most of them for the Montreal trip! hehee yepyep.. can't wait!!
Bumped into Raymond Au @ C2... hmmm I pretended I didn't know him.
Haha... that's kinda mean... but.... I don't really like him. ><
Had dinner with Shao, Emily, Winz and Fur @ Memphis Blues...
It was soooo good!! It's a complete MEAT-LOVERS restaurant.. everything there is MEAT. hahaha being the meat lover that I am, I loved it there. Interesting things that happened:
-watching Fur parallel park when she's super focused
-me pointing at the garbage bin and saying "that's so cute!!" (I was talking about the picture on the bin, not the bin itself -_-;;)
-Watching a couple finish a whole platter of beef that took 5 of us to finish
-Fur stealing the last sausage on the plate hehee
-Hendra was very dry and untasty. Hahaha...
After that we went to get ice-cream and hung out @ Shao's
-Fur: "Drumstik? Drumstik? Drumstik?...."
-I kept on putting my hand on and off from Keira Knightly's head on the magazine.. haha she's so pretty! But her head's so big and her body's too skinny...
-Playing "group photo"... hahaa it was kinda.... stupid...
-King Yiu and King Kong.. hahaha
-Shao the BIRD.. hahahaa hilarious....
-my "one-minute fame" and Winnie's "one-second fame"
-the cursed party dino.. haha which Shao threw into Winnie's eyes.. hahahahaha
Ah... such a fun night.... =) hehe looking forward to Lost on Wednesday!
Now that I think about it, I DID pick up the phrase "白痴仔" from Jenn!!
Haha... it's become my most overused phrase of the month....
=======================
currently hoping that my employer will extend my contract... to 8, 10 or 12 months, I don't really care... I just wanna stay there longer. =) I haven't really consulted my parents about this yet... but... too bad... !!!
52 days remaining....

This past week was such an extraordinary week... I had such good fun... it's so sad the program had to end so soon. =(
Well I guess I'll be seeing most (if not all) of them after 2 months... I can't wait I can't wait!! They are such a fun crew to hang with!!!
Anyway... on Friday most of us went to class dressed up because of the formal luncheon... everyone was soo good-looking/pretty.. hehee it was cool. We heard some more interesting talks from Shen and Clarissa and watched Hard Gay videos... LOL. During the process, we kept passing around paper cuz some ppl were planning presents for the presenters. Then Fur, Neil, Billy, Keith and I started another paper passing thing... hahaha... "Lakers is going DOWN". Over the week I've been influenced and turned into a Suns fan. haha Suns is gonna take game 7!! The Suns will melt the lake! =P After that we headed to the formal luncheon... it was very formal indeed.. we couldn't sit down until the general sat down, and we couldn't eat until he started eating. Good thing Fur, Billy, Gillian and I hid in a corner where nobody could see us. hehee... we had some interesting conversations... and Gillian had some interesting first-tasters.... when lunch was over Jenny presented each of us with our certificate... and that concludes the luncheon. I still can't believe one week is over already... I just got to know each one of them a bit better, and now we're parting already. I think I'm starting to miss the program already!!
Lemme write a little something about everyone so I won't forget about them... =P
In alphabetical order of last name aside from first two:
Shen: Program alumni with very interesting and funny presentations... hehe Fion's boyfriend... I think the most amazing thing about him is how much his appearance changed b4 and after his work term.
Clarissa: Program alumni who's very nice and cute... =) kinda wish I went with her group to dinner instead of Shen's group that night cuz the food wasn't that great @ The Eatery...
Duncan: The only guy in our group who gave up after 2 steps of the Giant's Ladder... -_-;; Guy who ticked Jenny off by answering his cellphone in class and doing stupid things. (obviously my first impression of him isn't that great haha)
Kevin: First guy to go into the green tea ceremony... haha it was funny watching him try to follow the old man... he really reminds me of... someone whom I can't pinpoint right now. Haha... NOT cowz definitely. =P
Jenn: haha nothing to say about her... been seeing her everday like 12 hours a day ever since last Friday... and I'm seeing her later this afternoon again...
Alfe: Funny guy whom we made him sing a song from the band "The Alfee"... the only non Asian/White guy in our group.
Andrew: Guy who looks like Merry from LOTR! haha... and also, he bought a new pair of dress shoes just for alumni wine and cheese cuz I told him to look for those in Kerrisdale.
Gillian: Super nice girl who hasn't had much experience with Asian/Japanese food before... haha I think I would've grossed her out if Billy and Jenn didn't stop me from continuing my conversation.
TongXin: Very flexible and quiet girl... haha could tell by the way she climbed up the giant's ladder... she's also very proud of being in SFU Engineering. =P
Jeffrey: Funny guy who does stupid things.. hahaa I bet he'll be one of the drunk guys sleeping on the street in Japan. His Japanese is probably one of the best among us cuz he's been on exchange before.
Keith: This guy reminds me of Luke Kuroko... haha I climbed up Giant's Ladder with his help, we had lunch together on all days aside from Tuesday. Also, he's the guy whom Neil claimed to "like" me in the high-school note passing. Hah.... for some reason I feel a strange bond of friendship with this guy already even tho I only met him for 5 days... I think it might be because of his resemblance to Luke. haha
Kamil: Kinda creepy guy whom both Jenn and I think is really difficult to talk to... I'm sure he's a nice guy and such but.. I guess our topics just don't match. -_-;; haha
Billy (Kwan): Super nerdy guy... haha (they better not be reading this)... that's about all I have to say about him.
Billy (Lam): Guy I'll be spending my 6 months with most of the time... haha the way Billy acts reminds me of KYOLE... whenever he says something, he says something good. Haha... it'll be interesting to hang out with him in Japan...
Mark: Annoying egotistic engineer... that's my impression of him. Haha... well he'll be in the Kansai area so I won't be seeing him much.. I think.
Clement: Melissa's friend whom I will depend on when I first get to Japan.. hehee I'm gonna make him and Neil let me join their "family cellphone plan"... and we'll go climb Mount Fuji together!!
Victor: If he is who I think he is, then he's some guy from my language class.. haha.. so mean. He is... er.. a very ordinary guy. There's nothing much interesting to say about him.
Andy: Short but cute-looking guy (according to Jenn?)... the loner living in Fukuoka away from everyone. But I'm sure all of us will be visiting him... hehe he lives really close to "red light district".
Brett: Guy who climbed up Giant's Ladder by doing chin ups all the way... we were all super impressed because he isn't buff looking at all. I never talked to him.. so I don't have much to say, but from the outside he looks like a really weird guy.
Kelvin: Very talkative person... haha especially after he had something to drink, he starts to shake his body and have huge hand gestures. Interesting guy to hang out with... he'll be living in the Kanagawa prefecture, so I suspect we'll be hanging out together a lot too.
Neil: One of the cutest guys in the program (imo)... haha hung out with him a lot these few days but didn't really get to know him well. I'll turn into his "daughter" when I get there so we can get the family plan. Haha.. He'll be living in the Kanagawa area as well, so I guess we will be hanging out too..
Jeff: Another one of the cutest guys in the program.. =P haha he probably has the coolest job out of all of us, cuz he got hired by a gaming company in Japan making RPGs. He is probably the most presentable and confident guy in our program... the only person who brought him his own powerpoint presentation for his company intro.
Tyson: Guy whom I met in the first day of CJP... he was sitting to my left. Didn't really get to know him because we were always in a different group, but he seems like a really nice guy.
Mari: Girl I depended on in our japanese language sessions... haha she is probably the best japanese speaker in our class because she is Japanese (duh)... canadian born japanese. She's really interesting and nice... I think she'll be taking over Ann's job in Chiba.
Byron: The second person I met in CJP... he was sitting to my right. Very nice and interesting guy as well... although I didn't get to talk to him much. He'll be living near Jenn so I guess we'll hang out when I go visit Jenn! hehee...
Lynn: One word for this girl: cool. She is so cool... not cool as in cool to hang with, but cool as in hard to approach kinda cool. It seems really hard to become good friends with her... but she'll be in Tokyo so I suppose I'll have some chance to hang with her too.
Melody: Very nice girl whom I didn't get to know very well at all... this girl reminds me of Veronica, but Veron is much prettier...
Nathaniel: Vincent's friend who is a super nerd.. on the first day I met him, he told a starwars joke and of course I didn't get it, so he was like "How can you not know? You are cpsc..." and I was just like... -_-;;... *note to self... avoid this person...* hahaha.... just kidding... maybe not. He is the guy who got really, REALLY red during the wine and cheese...
Leon: My only impression of him was during the card game, and it wasn't a good one.. hahaa I kept feeling that he was cheating (altho of course I had no idea)... and... I just had a negative impression of this person generally. Maybe he's a nice guy but I guess I won't find out until later on.
Vincent: Guy from Waterloo who wouldn't stop speaking cantonese to us.. haha.. he's a really nice guy. Gonna ask if we can stay at his place when we head to Toronto.... he is quite a good singer and kept singing Japanese and Cantonese songs.. hehee
Anton: At first I thought he was a weird guy but as I got to know him, he turned out to be quite a nice and interesting person who likes to poke people (watch out, Jenn haha)... he is living right across the street from Jenn and has the biggest apartment out of all the co-op students. hehee guess whose house we'll be crashing in when we get to Kyoto?
==============================
Enough about co-op Japan.. hehe
Friday night baddiholics hangout was great... hehe after dinner @ Sammy J's we went to Jyh's and played for the whole night. Lemme highlight the funny parts...
-Wilson wouldn't stop throwing cards at me... before AND after he was drunk
-Mark and Jyh playing Mario soccer sounding like "brokeback" soccer...
-Kyole's new nickname: 斷背森 (短背心) haha is it even the right "森"?
-Wilson getting half-drunk... attacking Kyole when he wouldn't tell him who "turtle head" is. hahaa
-Trying to kill Braz who was my own teammate in Bomberman.. hahahaa sorry
-KT and Bonner the drunk sleepers
-Showing them "hard gay" and other japanese comedian videos
-Wilson trying to type "I love you" to Clement on msn... haha good thing I closed the window quickly.. otherwise he'd think I'm such a weirdo cuz I've only known him for 5 days and i'll be living near him in Japan... -_-;; hahaha
-Mark, Jyh and Kyole trying to carry the TV down... quote of the nite from Jyh: "Get out, Mark! I'm doing it with Kyole". HAHAHA.....
Ahh such a great night.. haha altho I only had ONE SIP of drinks from Wilson's drink I was pretty high from natural high (or I was just too tired).. hahaa mmmMm... great fun!! Gotta do this again!!

These few days have been sooo fun....
but while having fun.. one must not forget about their responsibilities....
Today I witnessed a car accident on 41st and Oak.. >< one car was left turning and another was going straight at opposite directions on Oak -- both tried to run the yellow light. The driver going straight had her seatbelt on, when their cars hit her airbag came out and she was unharmed. The other driver, on the other hand, was NOT wearing his seatbelt and was on the phone at the same time. During the impact his body was thrown forwards and his head hit his front mirror. Aside from the impact on his head he had numerous cuts on his forehead from the accident as well. Luckily, an ambulance passed by and took care of him immediately...
So what did it teach me?? Make sure you put on your seat belt when you are driving, and always be careful on the road...
And furthermore... I saw Erin on the sidewalk while I was giving my testimony to the police about the accident.... I asked her if she saw the accident too, and she replied "no, that person is my boyfriend".... Oiy... just by seeing the accident I am already feeling very shocked... I can't imagine how she was feeling just now. Erin.. I hope he'll be okay and be strong!! I'll be here for you....
And a sidenote... the cops asked me for my driver's license when I was giving my testimony.. and guess what... I left my wallet in Jenn's bag today... I was feeling SO panicky but luckily they did not ask for my DL# again after I told them I left it in my car. And also... I wasn't paying much attention in the first place before the accident happened, and so when I was giving my testimony I couldn't be 100% sure which car was the one left turning and which one was the one going straight... I guess I've learnt my lesson.. from now on I will be more attentive and careful about things around me.....
Anyways... aside from that accident I also did lots of fun things today... we went to visit a Japanese couple to practice our japanese during jap lesson today... and after class a whole bunch of us (with ppl of all colors) went singing @ Icon... it was reeeally fun and everyone got so high grouping around singing BSB's "I want it that way" hehe... after that we went to E-Canteen for dinner... watched Suns kick Laker's ass... and.. yeah.. it was a fun fun day...
Will recap some more later.. it's 2am and I still have to shower and wake up at 8am. @_@
Goodnight

Mmm... today was a good day...
I'm beginning to feel excited about Japan and that I'm actually gonna have lots of fun there.... heheee....
Went to lunch with Fur, Keith and Kelvin... haha Fur was just being Fur...
Kelvin: "who brought in the flu?"
Fur: ".... white people..."
Kelvin: *chokes on his udon soup*
haha... Kelvin and Keith are both really cool ppl... =D enjoyed lunch with them 3.
After lunch.. went to Japanese Tea ceremony.. everything was cool except for the kneeling part... with that nasty bruise on my knee, kneeling there was SO painful... so glad the lady told us to "sit comfortable". hehehe.. it was an interesting experience.. I think I wanna learn Chado in Japan if I have a chance!
Then there was jap lesson, and alumni wine and cheese dinner...
Met sooo many friends/alumnis today and everyone was so nice... I'm really glad I joined the program and I'm looking forward to July.. hehee...
Met Victor who worked at my lab before... haha he reminds me of "Jim Jong Huang".. hahaha... but a cuter version. He's super nice... and plays badminton too!! haha
Met this guy.. whose name I forgot... but he plays at Badminton club too.. haha no wonder he looks familiar.. =P
Saw Johnathan, whom I knew from VRC like 5 years ago... =D it's cool cuz Fur is actually taking over HIS job over there in Kyoto.. and we'll go play badminton!
Saw Colin.. from PG.. haha and his mean girlfriend who kept giving me the evil eye while I chatted with Colin.. -_-;; haha
Saw Ryan, who told me lots about badminton in Japan and how I can get connections and keep up with training and playing... =D
You see.. haha the topic still revolves around BADMINTON... hahahaa but it's all good... =D
During dinner there were people performing Taiku... and I thought it was REALLY cool! hahha if there's a chance, I wanna learn how to do that too in Japan!! XD
180 degrees change in attitude from Fur.. haha
b4 dinner: stupid co-op! Make me miss Jeannie's bday dinner...
after dinner: stupid Jeannie! Make me leave early for her bday dinner...
lol....
When I get there... I'm gonna get "family plan" with other ppl in Kanagawa... and we're gonna go climb Mount Fuji!!!! YEAH! hahaha..
"Lost" w/ Shao, Jenz, Jim, Winz, Emily and Dewi today... hehe
I was still in "chat mode" from the alumni Wine & Cheese so I kept talking and talking until I ran out of energy... hahaa I'm not a kid. -_-;;
Apparently I was slowly burning everyone in the room... altho... I haven't gotten to Jenz, Winz, Shao or Emily yet. hahaha
and name of the night "Mary Poppins"... hehe...
such a fun and tiring day.... and long day ahead of me again.. @_@
Goodnight!

First of all,
HAPPY 21st BDAY BEARSCH.... =)
Hope you had a very happy birthday celebration with your family. =D
Today was the first day of the 5day Co-op Japan Immersion Program...
to summarize it all, it was TIRING.
8:15am - Woke up... @_@ good thing the tourney prepped me for waking up early... but haven't waken up this early in.... at least 2 months.
8:55am - we got there and they did an intro on the Co-op Japan program (which I'm sure all of us have seen at least once already -_-;;)..
10:30am - we had this "communication" session which was basically just splitting us up into 7 tables and playing "spades", but each tables have slightly different rules and we're not allowed to talk during the game. Haha it was actually quite interesting.. everyone was so confused by the end we all just gave up trying aside from a few bossy individuals.. haha
12:00pm - Lunch... which consisted of sushi from Honor Roll and cookies from Blue Chip Cookie... haha
1:00pm - Japanese language session... got placed in level 3 and we learnt how to introduce ourselve at the airport, at the office, handing out name cards, etc... we had to do a skit on different types of bows (15, 30 and 45 degree ones).. haha I feel so weird in that class cuz everyone else speaks Japanese really well.. ><
2:30pm - Went to Parking Services to get FlexPass with Fur... haha "skipped" 30 minutes of the training program. -_-;;
3:15pm - Co-op Japan alumni Clarissa talking about her experience in Japan... it was interesting too... but then it didn't really excite me about going there much... maybe I was too tired from waking up so early already..
4:00pm - UBC Ropes Course... played some interesting games, split into two groups (nooo furrrr....) and played some more games. Stood in the cold for 3 hours... brrrr.. my teeth was chattering for the WHOLE 3 hours and I was wearing 3 layers of clothes. ><
7:00pm - Left UBC with Fur... went to have dinner with her and Billy... heh gotta know Billy well since we'll be working in the same lab and living in the same dorm.. it'll be cool!
Fur, I finally figured out who Billy reminds me of!!
His face reminds me of my friend Maggie... (yes she's a girl =P) haha..
and the way he talks reminds me of Joseph Cheng... a friend from SFU. =P
Lemme elaborate a bit more on the Ropes Course...
it is interesting because through the games, although the intention was to facilitate teamwork, it instead highlighted *annoying* characteristics of a few people.
Some people are just born to boss people around... hahaha good thing we only had ONE such person in our group... otherwise... I don't even wanna imagine. haha..
some people have no patience at all... even in a game with no time limit they must rush everything...
Some guys on the other hand, are SO egotistic. They just GOTTA race.. in everything.. even against their teammates when it's supposed to be teamwork.
Some people... they just don't listen... for one exercise... we had to think of how to reach a rope that wasn't within reach... so i said "that's easy, just get someone to stand on the edge of the log and reach out to the rope while holding onto a person." Well, they did listen but that wasn't until AFTER they tried:
1) trying to hook the rope over by swinging a jacket at it *-_-;; most bak chi method I've ever seen....*
2)tried to lasso the rope over using ANOTHER rope, which wasn't allowed cuz we were only allowed to use our own belongings.
So they spent 5 minutes trying out this and that before finally resolving to my method... which worked perfectly. -__-;;
We had to climb up a "Giant's Ladder" which was built of wood and worked like a ladder from a helicopter, but had giant gaps between the steps. I climbed with Keith and Clarissa, and they were great! We went up each step one by one together with Keith helping the 2 girls.. =P It didn't take us long to get to the last step... altho it did take me 3 tries b4 I got up the final ladder. hehe... people kept yelling "Pull on his legs!! Use his tearaways!!" haha... that was really funny...=P
What I got out of this was... that I don't like guys who give up on things without even trying hard. I mean come on... if us girls can do it, so can you. BE A MAN!
Anyways.... I made quite a few new friends today... let's see if I remember all their names, Tyson, Byron, Mari, Billy, Billy, Duncan, Kelvin, David, Clarissa, Keith, erm... that's about all I remember. -_-;; Haha all the same friend making topics...
"Oh! You play badminton in SFU? Then you must know Joseph Cheng!"
"Oh! You come from Alpha? Then you must know Joseph Lee!"
"Oh! You come from Burnaby North? Then you must know Ricky Kam and Gary!"
And received a biggest diss of the day... which will remain a secret between Fur and I..... -_-;; hahaha....
Keith is an interesting person btw... the way he talks and laughs reminds me soooooo much of Luke Kuroko... hahahaa I wonder if they're related.
My wound on my knee is not getting better.. instead it 流膿-ed for the whole day (and is still going on) and my band-aid was completely wet when I took it off. -_-;; The ladder climbing didn't really help either.... it probably made it worse. >< I hope it's not infected... Arrrgh........... totally unworthy pain....
Okie.. got another long day ahead of me...
I am so tired right now I can just pass out on my bed, but my hair's still wet...
and blow drying requires moving my arms which are completely exhausted from the ladder climbing today.... -_-;;
救命呀..... so friggin tired.......
HAPPY 21st BDAY BEARSCH.... =)
Hope you had a very happy birthday celebration with your family. =D

2:30pm - Went to Parking Services to get FlexPass with Fur... haha "skipped" 30 minutes of the training program. -_-;;
So they spent 5 minutes trying out this and that before finally resolving to my method... which worked perfectly. -__-;;
I am so tired right now I can just pass out on my bed, but my hair's still wet...
and blow drying requires moving my arms which are completely exhausted from the ladder climbing today.... -_-;;
救命呀..... so friggin tired.......
