No fireworks for me this year... hehe my most haunted memory from Halloween was when I went trick or treating with some friends in Grade 10 and some guy said "don't you think you guys are too old for this?"... haha..... dude, that was the FIRST year I ever went trick or treating too...

There's one very annoying problem with me these days: my stomach...
It's been behaving weird-ly ever since it hurt during training like a month ago...
And now I get sooo much stomach gas... and burping during every match.. -_-;;
What's wrong leh.... need to condition my stomach again... ><
GamePoint was quite fun...

Good stuff... heh took Elisha and Karen to 3rd set... 10-10.. but after the water break we lost 5 points in a row. -_-;; Oh well! Must do better next time!

I think I've lost my habit of grabbing my head and saying "noooo" when I miss, but then on the other hand, I seem to have picked up the habit of saying "shit!" when I screw up instead..

Kept running into people during training today... during 2-on-1 rotation drill... ran into Teo.. then during game with Braz... ran into him like 3 times at least.... hahaha... so bad... -_-;;
And then during the game with Jenn...I almost lost my temper.... but I shouldn't cuz whenever I play poorly, Jenn has always been nice to me. Sorry Jenn...

was sooo glad 304 meeting got "cancelled"....hah the truth is they just did the stuff without me.. =P

"CHAAN HOOK 1 DING" was soooo entertaining.. haha haven't watched such an entertaining show in a loong time... finalists of all the finalists from all over the world!
For the whole hour, I was practically jumping up and down and laughing my head off in front of the TV with my mom while MSN-ing with ppl about the show. hahaha...
It was pretty damn funny... the only 美中不足 was that Aaron was a bit 不擅言詞... funny people in the show..

The situation was like this: 90% of the coding of my group project was done by another group member cuz he codes so fast and well... so me and this other group member didn't do much work. So while I was working alone on the test cases... some guy (someone I know.. I wouldn't call him a friend.. more like an acquaintance) walked over and our conversation went:
Guy: Hey
Me: hey, wutz up?
Guy: so... did you do any coding at all??
Me: ............
Sooooooo pissed...... first of all, what does that have to do with you at all...
and secondly.. you came over just to INCH me??? .....
Although there is a general belief (from guys in cpsc) that girls in cpsc can't code... what's with this provocation?????
Hajinobunka.. and tsuminobunka... I wonder which one I am...
Because many times when I've made a decision based on guilt... I would think that it was not entirely guilt driven... probably partly haji-driven as well... but my haji is not from sekeitei... it's from jibuntei. haha... now I'm confused.. @_@
I probably live in-between the two...
Damn.. missed PG practice today cuz I didn't get any email...

Birthday dinner part 3...
Dinner @ Sa Bo was very... fulfilling.. 3 hours of continuous eating of beef, more beef, veggies and other stuff.... Hendra, Shao and I were the only ones still eating in the end.. hahaha... I think I have the appetite of a guy.
Thankyou everyone so much for the present and the cake... =D hehee

Man.. the talks about graduation and working is kinda scary. I don't think I'm quite ready for graduation yet... ><
Now lemme try to recall funny stuff that happened...
-Bluetooth lady eating hotpot.. (Shao: Maybe she's the mom of the bluetooth guy)
-Me: Yes Mel, why do you smell so bad? (It smells Lamby...)
-Bambie is a GUY??? Shao: He should be named Bambo...
-Mel: 唔該俾兩碟牛油呀...
-Mel trying to scare Winz with shrimps
-Turning off the light with the pumpkin candle lighted and taking turns smelling the candle one by one ("It's not weed!!!")
-Emily: why is my third knuckle bigger than my second?? Me: maybe cuz u use ur third finger too much...
-People disappearing one by one upstairs to "talk to Jenz mom"
-Dewi getting sooo tempted to read Jenz' card from Jim
-"We won't judge people from the sound of them peeing..."
-Mel: "Do you really wanna touch my ass???"
and finally, the joke of the night:
Me looking at Hendra's jacket that looks kinda formal but it has a hoodle.
I said: This jacket looks nice! It's kinda like... fake 斯文..
Hendra: what??? .....fake SEMEN??? ... whatever it is, that doesn't sound good at all
There I finally set up comments.
I can only enable/disable all comments for previous entries... so.. I'll just leave it there.. was originally only planning to have comments for that ONE entry. -_-;;

Training today was good.. hehe finally getting some touch back at the net..
but then i think I lost my good smash again.. haha was smashing sooo well (compared to my normal smash) on Friday night I was so surprised by myself. haha
The games were fun too.. KSo and I beat Eric and Hugh!! Muhahaha....
Oiy.. my nets are still horrible (compared to like... say 6 months ago) though. I don't know why.. I used to be so confident at the net... but now... I'm always afraid to cross... hesitant to kill... and... basically.. just.. not in control of my shots. ><.... aiy.. like KSo said.. need to "gook" it these 2 weeks....

My "studying-for-a-midterm-the-night-b4" strategy isn't working so well this time..
I've written 4 pages of notes and I'm only halfway through the materials.
Not to mention that all the classes I skipped in the past few weeks didn't help my understanding of the notes at all... -_-;;
And what's worse.. I feel a sore throat coming.... @_@....
Oh yah, did i mention that I actually have TWO midterms tomororw? ><
And it's 1AM.... if I manage to finish the notes by 3AM I'll get 6 hours of sleep tonight...
Or... should I skip my 426 again (which I've already skipped for 2 weeks in a row? 5 + 1 more class shouldn't make a big difference... right? >=P)?
Oh boy..... I'm so screwed... ><
Can't wait till 3PM tomorrow... that's when I'll be rejoicing at how I pulled this one off again....
Oh yah.. and this is to fulfil a request by STEPHANIE SO... haha

I think I know why I've been so sleepy all the time lately and can't move!!!
Must be because my 血氣唔好!! Hmmm... need to do more 帶氧運動... -_-;;
But lately I feel I've been in a slump anyway...
Intellectually, physically and emotionally... all my attributes declining in strength. Heh.. convenient excuse for ill-performing eh?
It's a horrible feeling... cuz I can't even answer the simplest questions right on my cpsc assignment and I can't return the easiest shots in badminton...
And emotion-wise... my mood's been fluctuating quite a bit these days... dragged even further down by my disappointment in myself for not being able to accomplish... at all.
Oiy....the scary part is... I don't even know when I'll get out of this slump. ><
Hopefully before my midterm(s)?? Before the tournament maybe? -_-;;

Birthday dinner part 2...
Went to Provence Marinaside today with family... =) It was great...
Had fresh oysters for appetizers, and then a seafood linguine for entree and finally, a tiramisu birthday cake for dessert...
I like the waiter who served us... he was so elegant and nice... haha it's weird that I use the word "elegant" to describe a person of the opposite sex, but the way he spoke and acted gave me a feeling of...elegance. hahaha

After 18 hours I completed my assignment and "accidentally" deleted one of the core files.... -_-;; Well.. it wasn't as stupid as me clicking and pressing delete.. it's UNIX stuff so u probably wouldn't bother to read or understand...
But still... SO DUMB of me.... took me 18 hours to complete... holy....
LUCKILY.. I had an 80% completed copy saved in my home computer.. *phew*... just need to re-do that 20%. Otherwise.. I'd be SO SCREWED.... thank god for that saved copy...
I think I sprained my big toe... I don't know how. -_-;;

Can't believe we lost to Alex+Veron but that was entirely because of my ill-performance.... *sigh*... seriously, what the hell happened??

Backtracking to yesterday... the story goes:
So Jenn and I arrives at 11am knowing that we got a bye, but assuming that our game would be called when the first round is done...
We waited... and waited... at 12:00 we asked Francis why they won't put us on and he told us that our opponents are out to lunch.
At 12:30PM, Sarah's mom comes over and asks us if it okay to play our game at 3 because they haven't had lunch yet and were about to do so. Jenn and I have been waiting for quite a while already, and whilst thinking that we could've spent our time doing homework at UBC instead of waiting, and that they planned to have a 2.5 hour lunch break, we were pissed. We appeared impatient, and Sarah's mom immediately changed her line into "we've already talked to Francis about it so even if you ask them, your game will be played at 3." Jenn and I, feeling that we were left with no choice, were left disgruntled.
At 2PM they returned from lunch, I approached Sarah asking her if she wants to play our game and got the reply "no, I just had lunch". Jenn and I went to request Francis to have our game played again, but we got the following response "If they don't want to play, we can't force them to do so." So Jenn and I proceeded to have lunch ourselves at Golden Award.
At 2:45PM we received news from Brian that our match is on in 10 minutes. We were angered and marched back to C2 in discontent.
At 2:55PM we arrived at C2 and told Francis that we just had lunch. He asked us "Do you want to play your game now?" we said "no." he said "ok." Jenn and I decided to get warmed up and no longer than 5 minutes later, we heard our game being called.
Being even more irritated, Jenn and I reluctantly began our warming up. All of a sudden Jenn's face turned pale and she was feeling dizzy. Instead of asking our opponents if we could delay the game, I decided to do it the "Sarah's mom way", I went to tell Francis straight away and got our break.
At 3:30PM (?) Our game commenced.
All that commotion before the game had already intensified our game, and all those disputes during our game didn't exactly help. Disputes included:
Parents calling lines (from which got Jenn very pissed)
Score disputes (especially during the third set)
Net disputes (did the bird roll over? or not? this one got me REALLY pissed)
line disputes (this one was particularly... significant.. because Jenn and I made a mistake that costed Sarah their game and thus the chit-chatting of the parents began again)
On top of that I was playing really poorly and kept hitting frame shots so at one point I got so mad that I hit my racket towards the floor. >< I regret doing that... a lot... my beloved racket.... sorry... ><
In the end... we still won... but all that commotion before the game and the aftermath was definitely not worth it... I feel bad for my poor attitude throughout the game in front of Sarah and Crystal (which mostly, in fact, originated from Sarah's mom) and I feel guilty for that bad judgement. *sigh*

My day was extremely entertaining today... packed with the good, the bad, the ugly and the funny..
And oh man... the tourney today was... as I can't find a better phrase to put it.. "full of shit"... all that "beforemath" (haha) and aftermath of that one match. It wasn't worth it.... -_-;; update on it later.
After tourney was very, VERY fun/funny....

-all these new names we came up with during dinner... haha let's see.. Juno, the girl who sells bra's, 開胸, 玩泥沙, Elite (A), 熱奶茶.. anything else? hah
-HILARIOUS thing that happened: Wilson motioning his hand in and out of the elevator door while it was closing... and Braz said "why dun u try that with ur d***?". The elevator reaches ground floor and when the door opens, we see Mark standing right in front of us with his back facing us..... hahahaha

Had a very long chat with Bearsch today during club...
haha basically I went there for 4 hours and only played 1 game.. all the rest of the time was chatting chatting chatting... even right before/after the games we were chatting.... haha It was good chatting though... since Delen left I haven't been chatting with anyone about *that* anymore... we share a lot of common views and experiences... which is cool =) I guess I am a person who sticks to my morals/views very strongly... when I think something is right it's right otherwise it's wrong. I wouldn't get stuck in between the two... hehe but Bearz is the exact opposite?? She thinks most things are not completely right or completely wrong...and that turns into "moral combat" (inside joke... haha)...
I still get infuriated whenever I talk about *that*... grmmm.....

Damn it. Today once again I experienced the extremely irritating feeling of a calf muscle cramp... GR. Now I gotta find something to blame:
I blame.. Longboat for screwing up my leg/back
I blame.. chiro for not fixing my leg on monday
I blame.. 300; it made me run for 10 minutes in the cold and rain (holding an umbrella, too) cuz I thought the quiz was gonna be in the beginning of the class and I was late for class because of the Co-op Japanese exam
I blame.. Cute Pearl for making their food too salty
I blame.. myself for not listening to my gut feeling when I felt that I shouldn't play tonight
I blame.. my damn leg for being so easily cramping...
heh... one of these days I need to goi sing lai...

I spent around 2 hours typing up my Co-op Japan Job application and I am still only 80% done. -_-;; This thing is extremely time consuming! Grrr...
Something wacky happened today.. haha my carlights went beserk... this has happened before but that was a couple months ago. I got so excited cuz the lights are very entertaining. So what happened?
1) When I braked, my left and right turn light stayed on (like brake lights). When I release my brake they turn off.
2) When I'm braking, turning on the left turn signal produces no effect. When I release my brake with left turn signal on, my left and right turn lights take turns blinking rapidly....
3) When I'm braking, turning on my right turn signal causes both my left and right turn light to blink in no particular fashion.. they just randomly start blinking.
4) After I turned off my headlights and set my gear into Park, stepping on the brakes still turns on my left and right turn light.
5) Headlights still turned off and gears still on Park, I turn on my left turn signal and the light beside my brake (which indicates whether I am braking or not) start pulsing and I hear my gear shifting...
6) Headlights still turned off and gears still on Park, I turn on my right turn signal and all of a sudden, my CD panel lights start blinking like a right turn light.
Weird enough yet??? hahaha... I'm so entertained actually... wanna see what other combos I can get...
Thursday tentative schedule:
-11AMJapn 202 quiz first class
-12PMLunch for 1 hour during which I will study for my 300 quiz
-1PM Co-op japan Japanese written test
-2PM 300 quiz
-3:30PM Rush to PG for practice

I am so broken from Longboating.. -_-;;
Chiro fixed my back and shoulders today... but somehow my right leg and wrist still feels... oddly uncomfortable...
One go at longboating and I injure my my back + shoulder + right leg + pelvis...
haha... 1 hour of that is worse than 4 hours of private+group+running every week!!!
Therefore.... no more longboating for rojai.
Went to 2 out of 4 classes today.... =P
And I just happened to have skipped both my 4th year core courses. -_-;;
Should've so went home for lunch today cuz I couldn't find Joseph or Kyole and I didn't bump into anybody I know.... I ended up skipping the class after lunch anyway...
For some reason I'm always craving for sleep lately...
anytime, everytime I lie on my bed I will fall asleep within 5 minutes...
even when I'm just standing here typing this I'm starting to feel sleepy again...
I've been getting more than enuf sleep and I'm not doing anything particularly mentally distressing.... why do I feel sleepy all the time?? @_@.
Japanese speech is tomorrow... luckily...
I was so freaking out today when I realized I was supposed to talk about a favorite TVShow/Movie/Book, and that I was supposed to hand in a draft of my speech.
Well then... more work for me tonight.
I must be cursed or something for mixed doubles in C1 tourney...
Everyone who tries to play mixed with me gets injured..
last year KSo hurt his arm the day before we had to play...
and this year, even before the tourney started Wilson's leg is injured. -_-;;

發覺自從Cowz走了之後我多0左好多時間想多管閒事..
係因為以前我的世界圍繞住一個人,而家發覺已經管不唔到0甘多..
關心仍然係一樣之不過擔心少0左.
其實我覺得玩人未必一定係唔好呢...
我自己覺得你只會鍾意同唔鍾意一個人
冇拖泥帶水的"唔知道鍾唔鍾意"﹐
所以如果0個個人鍾意你, 被玩通常都會速進關係
反而如果0個個人唔鍾意你, 被玩先會完得好快...
今日Longboat0左...
除0左被三隻船先後地撞和 pick up baton 時將 boat beach 了之外,
我覺得我們都做得相當不錯了as beginners... =)
聽朝的8:40AM Consols 我係一定唔會去的....
$16.50 Longboat fee = 一日的fun + 歪的腰骨
但都唔夠彌補 $30 一次的 chiro fee 呢...
好似就快開始輪到我病喇...
今日 又背脊痛 又胃痛 又肚痛 跟住仲要失埋聲...

肚痛係...來歷不明呢...
