HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO!

Phew.. emailed UBC and they changed me back to 4th year...
but isn't it stupid? They changed my registration status, without even notifying me, DAYS before my registration date.... FOR NO APPARENT REASON too.... grrr...
Finally done registration today... Got all the courses I want... hmm... 2 hour breaks on MWF in term 1... but in term 2 I have no class until 11 for all days aside from Friday. hehee not bad la. Taking 4 jap classes next year.. hehe hopefully *cross my fingers* I'll get into co-op Japan and find a job there... and I'm set to go again! Not getting into comm minor won't stop me from my big big plans =p...

Got my Adidas Superstar today... =) I'm content...
Still gotta get a pair for my bro... then maybe a pair of heels.. a pair of flip flops... and I'm done with the shoes department... Heheh..
still need to get a wallet... and some jeans... and... =p

Time for some movie reviews!
=Mr and Mrs Smith - not bad... lots of action... Brad Pitt is cute and Angelina Jolie is hot... hehe it's nice for a relaxing action comedy but maybe cuz I've been hearing too much good things about it, I was slightly disappointed after watching it. The plot wasn't very clear and the ending was quite unrealistic... but still worth watching!
=Batman Begins - I liked it! hehe.. more than Mr and Mrs Smith actually.. hehee the only part I didn't like about the movie was Katie Holmes... nonetheless.. I liked the plot.. ninja moves and billion-dollars worth of equipments were cool...hehe movie after thought: if I were to become what I fear the most... then I'd probably turn into wasp-woman or cockroach-girl... eyuck!
=忘不了 - Pretty good... watched it on VCD... made me cry.. ~>_<~ the storyline is quite touching and the actors are great... especially the little kid.. he's sooo cute. Worth watching... ask me for the VCD if you want.

I shouldn't be, but I'm home sulking right now.

話說我搭巴士返屋企,上樓的時候見到有elevator...
0甘我立刻行過去,就正當我行到elevator門口準備踏入去,有個呀叔竟然噤制關門...
我當然嬲,0甘危險0既0野都做得出,枉佢活0左幾十年!
係0個elevator臨關門之際,竟然有個金色頭髮貌似飛仔0既男仔用手推開道門,噤實個開門制.
其實我真係好感激個拔刀相助0既人,但係當時嚇到連"唔該"都講唔出...

extremely thankful to the guy who stopped the door from closing...
regretting because I didn't even say a mere "thankyou"..
shameful because I judged the guy by his looks....
angry at the old man by doing such an inconsiderate and dangerous action!

Recent/random ramblings:

Went to the Hong Kong Jockey Club with Delen on Sunday...
it was cool... =) We spent the whole day watching and betting on horse races..
Highlight was when I bet on this "black" horse (1:59) and it won!! hehe I won $100.. =D
Joke of the day was the following conversation:
Me: *reading the horse booklet* 霍達..
Delen: 你講咩話??
Me: 霍達囉!....
heh... 霍達 is actually the name of a rider... his english name is Fraad.. lol..
didn't realize that I sounded like I was swearing... =p

Tomorrow this place in Tsuen Wan where I'm living is gonna have no electricity/water supply at all from 9:30am - 6:00pm. -_-;;

Went to Lan Kuai Fong yesterday night with Jenz and David...
Heh.. my first time there... there're 3 streets full of bars and pubs..
First, we went into PUB GEORGE... and it sucked there... no cards, no dice, and how can a cup of orange juice cost as much as Carlsberg beer???? -_-;; Wasted $40...
Then, we thought about going into FONG... but it was all old ppl in there... so we decided not to..
Finally... we went into this one... (I forgot the name already..) and they had cards! =D hehe.. this time... I spent ZERO dollars! haha drank WATER... sooo worth it for an hour full of fun! hehe...
We played the card game we played @ Pemberton... during one of the lists... the topic was "What to do when there's a fire"... and it went

Jenz: lie down (hahaha)
David: 跳樓! (hahahahahaha... )
David would rather die from jumping off a building than in a fire. heh...

Hmmm... feeling kind of disappointed at a certain someone.
果然, 即使是14年的友誼也不過如是.

Wanted to blog this:
A few nights ago during a ride on the MTR, an old man walked on the train with his wife and a little kid. I immediately stood up and let them have my seat, and surprisingly, the young guy beside me and the middle aged lady (who seemed very impolite when she was talking to her friend) stood up and gave up their seats as well....
=) and I thought HK people are rude and impolite... I'll re-evaluate them!

For some reason I can't access blogger pages here in Shen Zhen...
Anyhow.. here I am back for an update!
As you can guess, I'm in Shen Zhen right now! Finally!! haha...
mMmm... Jenz mom makes reeeally yummy food...
Gonna go shopping later today...

It's weird... during the day I always come across instances where I'd go "I'd HAVE to tell cj about this!!" but then when I actually get on the phone with him.. I forget all I wanted to say... =) hehee I just wanna hear his voice. =p

Ohoh.. highlights of Shen Zhen:
-CRAZY driving by the bus drivers... even tho it's red light, you know you usually let one left turn car by or maybe 2... but here.. it's like non-stop.. 4 or 5 cars go after the light turns red... and cyclists rush out everywhere... it's super scary!
-NON-STOP badminton on TV!! Surdirman cup! ehhe.. I know it's a rerun but still.. good stuff... =)
-YUMMY yummy food from jenz mom.. hhee she's making so many "Chiu Chao" food for me.. =D Sooo goood!! Thanks auntie!!

Missing:
-CJ... =p
-BADDYING.. >< get absolutely no exercise here. =(
-NIGHT MARKET... I want sugar coated strawberries! ><
-HANG OUTS... I feel like I'm missing out on so much over here!

Recent remarkable events:

1) Struggle with the WASP...
So I was home alone one night and while watching tv, I realized that a BLACK WASP had flown into the living room.... >< since I am super afraid of bees/wasp/any kind of insect... I ran into my room and closed the door... and I thought.. okay.... I'm safe... but.... guess wat..the TV's still on in the living room.. >< I can't leave it on the whole night... so... wat to do??? I wrapped myself in blanket and ran outside, turned off the TV and ran back into the room..... *phew*... scary night. The next morning, I struggled for soooo long before I decided to go outside the room...

2) Change of hairstyle..
This morning I went to the hair salon and stayed there for 5 whole hours. haha What changes did I make?? You'll find out when you see me... =p

3) Failing attempts to go to Shen Zhen...
Not once but twice did I fail to go to Shen Zhen as planned.. >< I was supposed to go there today but due to the length of time it took for the hair styler to finish, it was too late and I didn't get to go. Grr....

Something incredibly touching happened to me this afternoon....
But like I always say.... good and bad things always come in pairs.
And so..... the bad luck began after I left my house...

I can't believe what bad luck I had today... -_-;;
I spent the WHOLE afternoon in MTR/KCR... went all the way from Tsuen Wan -> Lo Wu and all the way back in a matter of 4 hours.
Lemme explain what happened... and perhaps then you can understand what I meant by BAD LUCK....
so I was supposed to meet Jenny and her mom at Shen zhen...so they told me to call them when I get to the train station Sheung Shui... so when I got there, I tried to call Jenny.. but then her line was busy.. I called sooo many times and the line was still busy... so okay.. I thought I would see them after I get out... so I went thru the chinese immigration and customs and stuff into Shen Zhen... after I got in.. my phone has no reception anywhere.. -_-;; so I had to ask around borrowing ppl's phones to call... (I actually spoke MANDARIN. hahaha...) and then I realized that Jenny's cell # is a HK cell#.... no wonder after all the borrowing of phones and calling, it still says "the number does not exist"... so I had to go find a store to borrow their phone... but then her phone line was still busy... so I walked to and fro the station for like at least 30 minutes.... all the way from the exit to outside and back and to outside and back again... and then I got scared... and couldn't find them... so decided to head home... and on the way home.. I finally had reception and they called me... but after like 2 seconds, my phone got cut off cuz it ran out of batteries.... I can't call Jenny using a public phone cuz I only have her china # in my cell... so I had to go all the way back home... and just now they called me........ they're still waiting for me at Lo Wu... -_-;;
OH MY GOD....... I'm so tired from all the walking and standing in the trains. >< soooo stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!! This string of coincedence!

Met up with Wendy, Ann and Elaine today..
I haven't seen them for sooooo long... especially Wendy and Ann...
慶幸的是我們的友誼並沒有因為時間和距離而改變,
依然可以和以往一樣自然的有說有笑... =D
today was 快樂的一天..

Now I'm home.. ALONE! hehe
My first time being home alone actually... =)
Feeling: lonely, a bit scared, but at the same time, free, independent, and I get complete privacy... =p
