Back from Pemberton!!
This trip was definitely one of the most relaxing and fattening trip I've been on ever.. hahaha... All we did for the whooole weekend was Sleep, eat, and Play.. heheee.. Pix are up on imagestation.. and here's a short recap of the trip:-
On Friday:
After we arrived we sorted out the rooms, then some peeps went out to buy food while some stayed to play Mario Tennis... I stayed and we had a GIRLS vs GUYS Team Singles match..
On the girls team: Bonnie, Jenn and I
On the guys team: Cowz, KSo and Wilson
First match results (3 sets of 2): GIRLS TEAMS' VICTORY! (All thanks to Bondelen haha)
Second match results (5 sets of 6): It was still undecided at 2-2 when the other guys came back so some of us left to help make dinner... both Bonnie and I beat all three of the guys at some point though! heheee so ging so ging!
We had spaghetti and Linguine for dinner... mmMmm with Caesar + greek salad and Garlic toast on the side! mMmm... Gina was the main chef and Kyole was secondary chef and the rest of us were helpers.. hehee.. it was a great dinner!
After dinner we played a drinking game (with non-alcoholics drinking apple juice/water)... it was fun though, because of all the listing and the challenges and stuff... I think i was the only one who lost in my own challenge... (not including bao jeen dup...) >< damn it jenn! haha made me laugh and blink! =p I kept calling KSo for not patting his head / nose and saying Hello/Goodbye/Thankyou when he drinks.. hahahaha soo funny!!! Oh and there were ppl singing when they get a 7 and ppl dancing when they pick an 8! hehehehe it was fun.... =D
On Saturday:
Woke up in the morning and Gina already made breakfast for us.. mMmm.. hamburgers with eggs, sausages and bacon.. soooo good! After that... we spent the WHOOLE day playing Gamecube.. hahaha didn't head out cuz it was pouring outside. >< The guys were obscessed with this snowboarding game and nobody could beat Braz' 7200 degrees record.. haha CRAZY!!! The other mini-games in Mario party was also really fun.. hehe I love that cleaning the room game and the cleaning window one! Later on Cowz and I went to Jyh's to watch the last 3/4 of the movie "Mindhunters"... soooo scary.. >< I personally think it's quite a good movie... it's just freaky... =p I'd recommend u to go watch it if u like murder mysteries! hehe... then a few of us played some games of UNO...I was actually WINNING! haha.. after that we had BBQ outside the door cuz it was raining outside.. >< nonetheless it was still good.. hehehe thanks to the peeps who cooked all the food for us... =D After dinner most of us joined in and played UNO again.. this time it was much more exciting cuz there were more people! haha... So funny when Kyole said "KSo's playing Jyh style UNO" hehehe. =p Jenn and I trying to save each other from adding cards.. hahaha... it was fun!!
On Sunday:
Sunday morning I woke up and Bearsch informed me that I had kicked her and slept really close to her on saturday night.. hahahaha oops.. sorry!! hehheee we had a hearty breakfast and then we started packing up for the trip back home... after we cleared out of the house, we returned the recycling cans and used the money to get 649... =) hehehe then we went to a nearby park and played soccer and volleyball! Oh man I suck so much... >< hahaha so funny how everyone was trying to cover for me... at least I could somewhat serve in the end! hehehe... and volley a little bit. -_-;; Jenn was just trying to dodge the ball.. hahaha... our 5th game ended abruptly after Bonnie was accidentally head-shot on the sidelines.. >< hehe it was really fun though... let's play more volleyball at the beach or something next time!!! I'm so amazed that all the guys knows how to play volleyball and they're good at it too! haha now I wonder if my other friends can play volleyball too... hmm... After we got back to Vancouver, all of us aside from Gina, Tina, Braz and Wilson went to Tokyo Ichiban for dinner.. we saw a lady Fnick in a car outside the restaurant.. hehe so cute!! They kept cutting our orders in half (we initially ordered 100+ pieces of sushi!) and the food came really slowly! >< Hehe but the quality of the food was okay I thought.. we had the usual chats and it was really fun... haha
Thanks to Mark for the ride home last night.. =D
This morning I woke up at 7:30am to get my passport renewed... haha surprisingly it wasn't so bad cuz I haven't been getting enough sleep for the past 3 nights anyway.. uploaded the pix... blogged... hehee... hehh.....ha...*fell asleep on the bed*....
Aw... for everyday that passes I'll have one less day to spend with cj before he leaves... I think I'm already starting to miss him.. =(

Accomplishment of the day: 12 laps after baddy training.... (or.. it's actually PART OF the training...)
the last time I went jogging at a track was.... when my dog died I think... I went out to PG and ran for 1 hr with my bro. haha that was 2 years ago.
On a side note... I really like playing doubles form with/against Eric and Edwin.. because they make me feel so comfortable playing doubles... hehe... usually when I play doubles with/against guys... I always have this feeling that I suck and that my partner always need to try so hard to cover me (which is most likely the truth as well), but when I play with/against them, I had no such feelings at all... =) Allows me to play a bit better and most importantly... not feel like I'm a burden to my partner... =p

Last night I had such a tiring dream...
I dreamt that it was after training and Darryl made us run 5 laps outside.. not around the track... but outdoors... and it's like.. in a train station or in a university or something.. it was really weird... but a lap is quite long that's why he only made us run 5...So I was running with Cowz, Kyole, Bearz, Mark & Bonnie... and then... after a while I was only jogging with Cowz (everyone else either lagged behind or were in front of us)... so we jogged... and then bumped into someone and Cowz stayed to talk so I jogged by myself... around and around... and then it started raining... for some reason, they decided to put plastic sheets to cover up the ground (I think I PAINT too much for this to occur in my dream haha)... so I was running on an upward slope covered with slippery plastic sheets under the rain... man.. that was tough... -_-;;... and when I was finally done my 5 laps, I was supposed to run into room 505 in this building... haha

Feeling a very strong rush of nostalgia at the moment...
Perhaps its the weather.... It feels like summer 2 years ago... Back then everyday it would be class/lab then SRC.... ahhhh... those were such good times... baking with Delen... hanging out UNO-ing... SRC-ing till my back hurts so much... seeing Kyole/Cowz for how many consecutive days I don't even remember anymore.... Oh boy...... I miss it all so much. =(
who knew that a summer later I'd be stuck in an office whose air-con breaks 5 out of 7 days testing???
and who knew that a summer after that, I'd be sitting home enjoying a free summer again? =) hehehe
Today's just one of those days when I'd open my eyes wondering if I went back in time, but only to wake up knowing that it's all too impossible.......
Oh well!! I can't say I'm not satisfied with how most things turned out though... hopefully things will only get better for the years to come. =)

I'm amazed although I had to wake up at 8am this morning for it...@_@
Anyway, the results for mixed was.. okay... I'm satisfied with how I played to my own standards given that I was under early morning drowsiness.... but I felt that my reaction speed decreased by so much.... wasn't really alert or using my brain during the games. -_-;; Hehe apologies to Cowz. Lost to Alex and Sarah... again!! Grrr.. third time we play them, we must beat them! hehee... yep.
The results for doubles was quite satisfying!! hehe thanks to Bearsch and her bear slams, we took Jenn and Lindy to 3rd set in the finals and lost 12-15, 17-15, 7-15... it was such a close and exciting match... =) I had tons of fun!! Hehe I remember there were quite a few jokes going on in between the rallies too.. hahaha mostly just me and Jenn =p
Overall... not bad I guess... was swimming in the easier pool for doubles... =) hehe add the trophy to my collection!! hehe my first one of this kind. =p Gotta collect 'em all! hahaha...
