Just trying out the new picture tool....

This morning my dad was saying "How much do you weigh? You're eating so little nowadays" and I was like "I duno" so I went and weighed myself and found that I lost 5 pounds from the last time I weighed and a total of 10 pounds from my peak in around April. Well? I'm either losing muscles or I'm losing fat. I'd rather it be the latter.. but.......
nooo... must start working out again.

I was notified that my linear algebra course will have a change of meeting time, but I checked and realized that they changed my comp sci course time instead so now I have a conflict........ grrr....
I don't like the way they're screwing with the system.... tsk tsk tsk.
The new course system is still yet to be debugged!!
Perhaps I will take the course on Relational Database instead... hmm....

I always wonder how people show up to a party uninvited...?_?

Bleach.. Finished 7 volumes of Bleach in 2 days...
and it only gets better..... =D

Things are generally simple..
life just seems tough cuz people complicate them.

After 6 hours of baddying, my back is SO sore and I feel like chopping both my calves off as well......

I'm only 19 *still*.... I still have a few years to spare! hehe
Must... go.. swimming + work out + train.
And also.. must learn how to play against old people with weird shots!! haha...

Missed 3 times last night but caught one this morning!!

Apparently my knee injury is due to my OUTER quadricep (Vastus Lateralis) being too strong and my INNER quadricep (Vastus Medialis) being too weak... therefore.. when I depend on my outer thigh too much it strains it and pulls my kneecap towards the outer direction... causing my knee to hurt like hell...............
Now I gotta work out my inner thigh.... and stretch out my outer thigh a LOT before I play...

I've been listening to the radio while driving to/fro work for a while,
but a few days ago I decided to listen to my CDs again...
Brian left his CD in my car from the Calgary trip so I was listening to that...
reminiscing....... good times........... =D
The Calgary trip is definitely THE highlight of the year......

And I got awaken by my dog (specifically, SUMO) at 2:30AM again last night..
I was so mad but I'd have to blame my family for spoiling him in the first place...
Nonetheless I still got some good sleep and woke up in perfect weather...
Had a really funny dream though...
I dreamt i was hanging out with Jenz and Winz.....

Here's a freaky story for today:
Katie and his family went back to HK for vacation. They went to "Wai Chuen" to visit their relatives. While they were eating, her sister suddenly started running around screaming and crying. They soon realized that a bug has flew into her ear and wouldn't come out. Her sister was in so much pain that they immediately sent her to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctor drowned the bug with some oil and took it out. The bug that flew into her sister's ear was...... a flying cockroach that's as big as a dime..........................

They finally fixed the AC in my office...
the reason it wasn't working was cuz it ran out of coolant....
wat a dumb reason. Nobody does any maintenance.........

I swear weird things were happening last night....
I woke up in the middle of the night feeling extremely hot and stuffy (but I had my windows open)... so I turned on my a/c but I looked on the floor and saw a white light flashing....... the thing is my blinds were mostly closed and I have no idea where the light source came from..... I've never waken up from HEAT anyway...... most ppl who know me knows I have a high tolerance for heat.........Weird!

Went to bbtea with Lar last night...
wow... the first time I met her was in HK... heh.. funny enough... we were in the same badminton camp thing.
And now she's graduating next year........everything's passing by so fast.....
but like I said Lar... do whatever you're happy doing as long as it doesn't harm other people.
Sometimes it is not up to others to judge whether or not you're having fun.
Plus, it's always better to make your own decisions... so u'll have no regrets! =)

Correction to my last entry: Ben actually WON in the game... so he lost ALL his money haha...

Of course, given that they are both just characters from novels, there isn't any real comparison. Beauty is a very subjective measurement anyways..
But nonetheless, I still think 小龍女 should be prettier. =p

Fireworks were spectacular.........
I loved the song China used... haha it's so commonly used in cantonese dramas especially in "Sai Yau gei"..... the fireworks were synchronized with the song so well too...
It must be fun to design the archietecture of fireworks...... each individual spark's placement, orientation, color and pattern....
Everything requires so much thought and design... and there is only one chance for each set of firework to be perfect!

Couldn't sleep well last night...
Dogs started barking @ 2:30AM and didn't stop for like 15 minutes.
Couldn't go back to sleep until much later.

I kept thinking "Now I'll close my eyes, and I'll get to sleep" but I always wake up after a while knowing that I did not sleep at all..... arrgh......
Probably has something to do with my irregular sleeping habits during the long weekend tho..... hmmm....

I like talking to my co-workers...cuz they're so sensible.
Everything seems to make sense when I talk to them. They can put sense into almost everything. In fact, they probably believe that there is a sensible way out of everything.
Question of the day:
What happens if a good friend of yours say "if you don't come right now, I'll kill myself!"?
Being as "gum ching yung see" as me, I'd probably say "go see that friend".. due to yee hei or friendship..
But their answer:
If he's not serious, tell him to grow up.
If he's serious, call 911 cuz that's the best thing you can do for him unless you're a professional psycologist.
That is so right though. If that can happen once, that can happen twice. I can't let him abuse our friendship (what kinda friend is that anyway). In any case, it is for the better for both him and me.
This is only an imaginary question. I don't have a friend who's threatening to kill himself, no worries. =)

Reminds me of a highschool incident:
So I had a friend named A...... and she used to hang out with our group of friends. Later we found out that she's an evil, manipulative person so we decided to stay away from her. (another long story behind this) One day afterschool, we decided to go hang out @ this bubble tea place, and A said she'd join us later so we were like, okay. A while after we got there, we received news that she got hit by a car outside the school. For one, we were suspicious of how truthful the news was... because of her manipulative personality... and two.. we've already ordered our food so it would make no sense to leave right then. Plus, she already had friends there looking after her (that is wat we're told), so we decided to go take a look when we're done. Before we were done eating, a group of her friends came storming into the cafe... they surrounded the 4 of us and started yelling at us, saying how heartless we were for not caring about our friend.
So? It's all a matter of sense vs morals....
It was our choice not to see her... and yet guilt was induced on us because we "should" have gone...
That made a big impact on me... I swear I've almost forgotten about it until today, when the scene floated ever so clearly back into my head.
My decision still stands.
First of all... when someone abuses friendship, that friend is no more a friend than a manupulative stranger.
Secondly, I abide by obligations that come with the formalities of "friendships" and "relationships",
but when both of those factors fail to exist.....
It is not up to others to induce guilt on me.

Realization of the day: There is a handful of selfish and evil people out there.... more than you can imagine.
So "hark yeh choi hung" might be realistic afterall... I've just been living in my own little bubble for too long. Need to learn to deal with evil people..... fortunately I haven't met a lot of them. People usually don't show their evilness until they want something from you.... so watch out!

Obviously, I don't get complimented on my choice of clothing very much... hahaha....
Oh well. I'm glad I don't live on impressing people with external attractions...
I don't get how people can spend hours on picking clothes and wearing make up!
Better to invest my time on something more constructive... =)
