So I was looking for parking spot in Yaohan.. when I saw this guy with his girlfriend outside their car so I thought they were leaving... so I signaled.. I waited and waited and they saw me waiting.. and then it ends up they're not leaving... so I was like "fine... u could've TOLD me..." and then when I drove away the kid had this sneer on his face!!!!!!!!! Holy......... pissed me off so bad I wanted to run him over right in front of his girlfriend.
DAMN RICHMOND SEI LENG JAI!!!!!!!!!!
Physio update:
Cj is 90% cured and my backbone's not twisted anymore!!!! Woohoo!!
Also, neither my shoulder, back or ankle was tight... =D
Full recovery in sight for both of us!! Excellence..!! hehee
Lunch with cj today @ the place under the place...
2 funny incidents:
#1 We both ordered western food so this guy took away our chopsticks. A while later, another waiter came and gave us chopsticks. Then afterwards, the original waiter came and said "kui sor gah" and gave us forks and knives and took away our chopsticks..
#2 I ordered Meal D... but then Meal A came... when the waiter came to clear things up he said "Didn't you order meal B?" I was like.. "no, I ordered meal D". Then he said.. "Oh... okay.. but the kitchen mistakenly made meal A instead"... hahaha... so after all that I ended up with a meal A. Reminds u of the McMug song doesn't it? haha
And a not so funny incident: the ham there tastes like crap... literally.. I suspect they gave us expired ham. -_-;;
Anyways! hehee it was an entertaining and goood lunch.. haven't had lunch with cj for so long. =)
Things I learnt in training:
-Crosscourt block return smash (and I couldn't do it!! grr)
-Net spins (honeydew and the backhand swiping one)
and.. that was it!! my lesson lasted till 5:45 just doing those two things! haha
Afterall today was a rather depressing day......
the anticipation of something bad happening can often ruin your day...
even though it may not happen at all, imagination kicks in and does his beautiful job to screw you over.
It's okay.. sleep it off, sleep it off.
Short update for yesterday:
Friday was the most unproductive work day ever... since our supervisor was gone and we were done all the test cases he gave us, we played chess for the whole afternoon. haha.. I don't like it when ppl watch me play. -_-;;
After work was.. badminton!!! =D Played some mixed and doubles...
Mixed was pretty fun... hehee I need to work on my nets... Kyole kept crossing me at the net and I kept being moved around.. need to learn to take control!!! Play more shots at the net, maybe...haha...
Doubles was pretty fun too... =) Except after the mixed game I strained my dai bei muscle... why do I always hurt myself???? Ahh!! It's either not enuf exercise, or too much at one time. -_-;;
After badminton we went to NY Steakhouse... quite a few jokes there...

I don't like to judge people and I don't like being judged by ppl either.
I don't like it when some people seem to know exactly wat your thinking.. except they don't, but they pretend they do and they scare me.
I don't like it when people start answering questions for me... I have a mouth for a purpose....
I don't like it when people are two-faced... altho that might be required to become a successful person.

Went to VRC today to work out for a bit.....
jogged for like... 5 minutes for warm up, then another 10 minutes and already I was out of breath...
So after working out my arms and legs for a bit I went to play doubles with Joseph against Bryan and Lindy...
Not only did I play poorly but my leg cramped up. AGAIN. When I wasn't even running hard.
AiyA....... just pisses me off that I'm so weak.
Therefore......... need to be determined in my jogging schedule!!!!!!
I've heard millions of reasons on why muscle cramps occur...
some say there's not enough minerals in your body..
some say there's not enough water...
some say your body is not well-conditioned therefore the muscle tires out...
Or maybe... all of the above is true!
Yea.. I wish somebody would invent a pill to prevent cramping.. =p heheee...

It's time for an update! hahah...
Didnt' wanna wake up at all this morning... -_-;;
I had such a great weekend I felt extremely lazy and reluctant to wake up to go to work...
So I ended up getting there by 9:15 and stayed till 5:45... which is STILL okay! hehe not too late...
If ppl in my team didn't leave so early (@ 5PM sharp everyday) and leave me there all alone staring at the computer, I'd be going to work at 10 and leaving at 6 everyday. =p hehee..
My right leg was SUPER stiff so I looked like I was limping whenever I walked. -_-;; And I also had a mild diarhea.. for the whole day... ><.... man! I think it was cuz I ate too much on saturday night! Hahaha... so dai sei. -_-;;
Minor accident this morning... so I was on my way to North van going to work... when I was driving, driving.. then I was probably too tired from the weekend or somethin... cuz I wasn't thinking straight and drove my car too close to the right curb... then I heard a bump and I guess my right wheel rims are all scratched up now. -_-;;
Gonna go to a co-worker's house for Pizza and movie tomorrow! haha

And after that... Damir wants a DDR tournament. hahaha....

Rewind back to Friday..
Since I got my first paycheck (well.. for a REAL job) I treated my family to dinner Friday night. =D The food was actually pretty good!! The prawns, especially... and I liked the shark's fin too, altho the amount of fin in the soup was not that much.. the soup was good. =) Yeaa.. hehe it was a good dinner...
Saturday was the BK tourney......
mixed w/ cj... I thought it was okay... didn't play too well in the first game but I think I played decently in the second one. hehee.. hey.. we got 7 points playing against Chris Trenholme and Linsay Thomson! hehee that's... quite good in my standard. =p hehee.. It was good that everyone won their first game in mixed! =D Mark and Bonnie killed Powin!! hehee.. good job!!!!!
Doubles was.. disappointing.. >< So pissed off at myself... for being in such poor condition. Leg cramp again... sorries to Windelen.. let her down. =( But yea! I'm gonna go to VRC like... twice a week from now on to workout/jog. Let's see how long I can keep up with this. -_-;; Anyways... good thing we beat Elisha/Sarah.. in 3 sets.. -_-;; kinda pissed off cuz I kept hitting the birdie when it's going out.... but later on we gained our composure and came back! =D
Need more physical fitness training... but yea!! It was FUN playing the tourney! =) Tourneys are always fun... and seems like everyone did well.... and everyone had fun! Good stuff!!!
Went to TopGun sushi in New West. after tourney... it's pretty good!! A lot of variety of food for $20... =)
There were also a lot of jokes... hahaha Mark's "juerng butt peurng"... LOL and Kyole's "mo dao mo deurk". hehee had a great night!
and Sunday....Sunday was a SUPER greeat day... =) needless to describe in words!

Chin Gei Been (The Twins Effect)
Kinda pointless but quite funny movie.. hehe lots of action too!
I realized that Alice (lee) looks a bit like Charlene... hehee
The storyline was okay.. but there wasn't enough room for character development!! So overall rating for this movie.. uhmm... B- bah! hahaa...
After reading an article from this magazine, I've decided....
Sometime in my life, I'm gonna go visit the MALDIVES.....
enjoy the sunshine, the beach, the clear, blue water and coral reefs...
imagine sitting on the dock in a warm, sunny day with your significant other, talking, laughing, watching fishes swim in the sea... ideally, then at dawn you'd watch the sunset, then have a great seafood dinner made with all fresh seafood!
ahh... sounds so romantic and... yummy! hehee...
looking forward to...

I'm just feelin slightly reserved in publishing my thoughts recently.
Hmmm.......... weird. =p
One of the saddest feelings ever,
is when you lose one (person or pet) who's most precious to you.
Keep in mind they come for a reason and they leave for one.
They're gone to a better place! The air up there... is probably fresher. =)

I thought it would mention something about "God's hand"... but...
I guess "god's hand" is just the notion of nurturing the new generation to Go...

Oh boy.. I hurt my neck/shoulder, back and wrist from snowboarding.... NOT from badminton! Now that's a first...
Good thing I got to see cj!!! =) makes up for all the pain.. heheee

my co-worker, Jena, is holding a party tonight but I can't attend cuz of the family dinner..
so if i didn't have the dinner to go to... would I go to her party!?

But it's alrite......... I think we all have our own border... and limits to how many friends we'd like to have at one time.

Highlights from work today:
-Whopper Wednesday @ Burger King. hah... Damir and Eric walked in with the BK Crown... LOL
-FINALLY know wat we're supposed to know... cuz I was talkin to Amy about how we're running out of things to do and she suddenly turned mean and started bombarding me with all these technical questions...... I mean.. no one's telling us what we're supposed to do and we're not getting any training watsoever, and telling us to "try things out" just doesn't work anymore. -_-;; So she got us a list of things we should know... and when I asked stuff like "Wat's MIO?" she's like "If you don't know wat it is, you should go look it up in the manual" but the problem is it's not in the manual and we don't get internet, so you expect us to ask someone but when I ask u ur like "go look it up"!? Sounds kinda ironic... doesnt it? Sometimes people may not be wat they seem to be... =p
-I made a vessel shaped like a turtle! LOL... it's named "THE ROZ". hahahaha
-Played a 10 hoops game... I held the highest record of 9/10 for 15 minutes!! Glen sucked.. hahaha 2/10...
-Damir plays badminton too!! coool... hahaha should play him someday. dang, I miss badminton. =(
-the Network guy came in today and told us we're gonna get internet tomorrow. We cheered and he was like "No, no, no. You will not be allowed to send any external email or receive from outside. You will not be using the internet at all or else you'll be in BIG trouble". We were like.. whoa... chill.... we're just cheering cuz now we won't have to walk up and down the stairs to find help. =p psh. Do we look that unreliable?

Ookie.. u can skip this if u want to... but here's a recap of the ski trip.
So friday I met up with cj in UBC after work.. =) hehe... so hou..
There was BAD traffic on West Mall on... like.. HORRIBLE traffic.. -_-;; ended up getting off the car and walked instead...
Then there was the 6 hour bus ride to Kelowna... Sat with Jenn to and fro.. =)
Went out to Safeway instead of Casino at night.. >< hehee missed it!! I wanted to go.. =(
But it's alrite.. cuz guess wat we got from Safeway? Wat do we scream for?? ICECREAM! hehee..
Ann and Jenn tried out the jacuzzi in our room.. our room seems like a "honeymoon suite" cuz the jacuzzi is OPEN.. meaning it's not in the washroom.. it's open in the room right across from our beds. hahaa... Jenz and I forgot our swimsuits.. -_-;; I mean.. who'd think of bringing a swimsuit to a ski trip, right? haha
yea... so that was day 1 of ski trip........
Saturday morning.. got up at 7:30, hopped on the bus at 8 and got to Big White in an hour.
I was supposed to get VIP pass os I can cut straight into the front of the line of the rentals, but some stupid girl who was supposed to bring us there said "they can handle it inside" and left us there so we had to lineup!! Grrr........
Anyways.. after like an hour I finally got prepped... and headed up the lift!! =)
The first 10 minutes was horrible... I just wanted to go home cuz my legs were so sore and my stomach was cramping but after that it was SO FUN! =)
The mountain was beautiful... we were literally riding ON THE CLOUDS.....that scenery... it's priceless! =)
Was trying out carving but couldn't balance... still need LOTS of practice, but I doubt I'll be getting any until next year. =p haha
Met Andy and Mason during lunch on both sat and sun! ahha.. funny.. I bet they haven't been playin any badminton for a while.. tsk tsk tsk
Took a nap after we went back to the hotel... ah so relaxing... I like to sleep all curled up. hahaa
Then went to Gotchas afterwards... in a limo! =) no drinkin all dancin for the night..... it was alright...... haha at one point I got pretty hyper just dancing... haha... is this wat Mel refers to as "natural high"?
That was good.. I should lay off the drinking anyway cuz of my stomach. -_-;;
I was takin pix of Ann and Jenn dancing and then this caucasian girl pushed me from behind and yelled "Get off me!"... I guess I was pretty pissed and hyped cuz I yelled back "no, YOU get off me!"......... =p
Anyways.. clubbing's only fun if you go with a friend and stick with her........ cuz it's probably just me but I feel very insecure when I'm alone.
Anyhow.. back @ the hotel... Jenz and some other peeps drank some more... I was tryin to sleep but then it was too funny listening to them play drinking games. haha
So Sunday........ went up to Silverstar... boarded, boarded, then fell, fell and fell... on my knees too, cuz I was tryin to carve.... -_-;; It hurt too much to fall by the end of the day that I decided to stick with just half-carving. hahahaha...
We missed TUBING! cuz there wasn't time by the end.. ><... OH wellz. next year! hehe...
Bus ride home... slept thru most of it... home sweet home... =)
The trip was really fun but I missed my privacy, my bed, and my pei! hehee

It sounds pretty good from jenn's description.. yea.. I watched the beginning, the end, and slept thru the middle. hahaha.... and I DO agree with the movie... everything happens for a reason...... and that ultimately we'll fulfill wat we're supposed to fulfill, whether we're aware of it or not.
By now u should be able to tell that I like comedies... haha fall asleep during other movies but watch all the comedies.. haha =p

So an American, a Chinese and a Canadian were sitting around a camp fire, drinking and getting hyper. The American suddenly pulled out a lot of guns and money, and he threw them into the fire. The two other guys were like "What are you doin? those are good stuff!" the American said "yea, we have tons of those back in US". Then the Chinese guy got really hyper and started throwing all these pirated CDs and fake brandnames into the fire. They were like "What are you doin? Those are good stuff!" and the Chinese said "yea, we have tons of those back in China"... then later on, the Canadian guy got really hyper... so he picked up the chinese guy and threw him in the fire...... today we got so bored we were betting on wat time the supervisor's gonna come and help us.
today we got so bored we were all starring at our ship move on autopilot.
today we got so bored, we had an engineering vs science competition on whose boat can go the fastest without crashing the system. Damir (apsc) went up to 75 digits.... Glen (sci) went up to 100!!!!! Woohoo.. way to go! hehe
work is boring, but I don't mind since I'm gettin paid for it! haha... =D
dentist tomorrow morning.. ><...
I'm so desperate to see the dentist....

Yesterday I was completely relaxed and comfy.....
Today.... I'm a bit stressed and feelin really chilly!!! ><
Anyways... in case u didn't kno.. today was my first day of work... =)
It went alright actually... good news... I work flex hours!! hehee so as long as I get 40 hours in each week.. doesn't really matter wat time I come/leave. hehee... good stuff.. no crazy 8AM work hours for me! =p hehee
They hired a team of 6 ppl except this girl's not gonna be here till Wednesday.. so now the team basically consists of ALL guys aside from me!! haha... new friends I made: Eric, Damir, Feng and Glen... they're all really nice and smart ppl.. haha overheard Eric and Damir talkin during lunch...
Eric: "I got like 20% on my midterm.. good thing I ended up with 93%"
Damir: "Yeaa I didn't make the cut for not counting the midterm! I ended up with 89%! Wat'd u get for comp sci?"
Eric: "I got 85%"
Damir: "ONLY 85%??? haha"
and I was like..... -_-;; hahaha I really wonder why they choose to hire me..!? hahaa...
First day of work... was alrite... they haven't had the training course or the computers set up yet so they just gave us a 2-inch thick manuals for this program and told us to read it... JAI read.. -_-;; it was really dry... almost fell asleep in the beginning...
It got better in the afternoon since they got the comps set up.. so we got to play around with the boats and maps! hehee I made my boat sail from Vancouver -> HK in less than 30 minutes going 20000 knots/min. LOL.... if only that could happen in real life... and if onyl I own a boat at the same time. hahaha
I realized that compsci/engineering physics is really a GUYS' industry...
the ratio of guys to girls there was probably like... 8:1!??? And the receptionist's not even in the industry. -_-;;

It's been very enjoyable.... christmas used to be just a shopping holiday for me.....
I intended to make this one a badminton one but it turned out to be totally different... haha
But... like McNuggets... the change... was GOOD! heheee...
Hope it'll be even better for us.. next christmas. =D
I finally got to try out my racket!! =D
I was a bit disappointed cuz I wasn't really used to it yet...
Couldn't get as much power (not like I had much anyway).... and couldn't control the power...sometimes I hit way too hard and sometimes I hit way too soft... -_-;;
But that's alrite! hehee I'm gonna get used to it! =)
It's quite light.. hahaa allows me to swing a bit faster in the front but I still draw my racket back too much.
Hehee oki..... highlights of today's "ha look":
-during this game with Bearz against Bonnie + Mark, I hit this high shot on the right front corner of the court, it hit the rim and then flew to the right front corner of their court.. lol.. it seemed like I did a really nice crosscourt net shot. hahaha
-During mixed game against Kyole and Bearz, I did this really bad net shot and Kyole was gonna kill it so I got freaked out and yelled "shit!" and ducked. haha...
UHmm.. that's probably it..
Went to lunch w/ Jenz and Shao today... @ i-cafe...
had reeeeally thick pork ramen..... haha it was okay......
Then went to Richmond with them... accomplished quite a few things..
went home... headed to Windelen's house for baddy club hotpot...
That was quite fun.. except my camera ran out of batteries after I took like 3 pix cuz i forgot to charge it. -_-;;
Discussing with Jeffrey how the next club tourney should be like...
Calcutta format?? Baddi-lympics? hahaa... interesting ideas but are they workable..!?
I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.. since Jason said one year they did Limbo.. Lol.. haha
I mean.. Limbo + badminton..?? huh? hahaha
OH wellz.... good stuff... we'll see.......

Hmmmmmm.................... wat to do wat to do?
LOTR3...... it was pretty good.. heheee afterall it's the ending of the trilogy... hehee happy endings are always good. =)
However it really did drag on a bit too long in the end.... hehe... story would go on much quicker if they appointed Sam to be the ring carrier in the first place.. -_-;; so mcuh more reliable than Frodo. hahaha
Legolas was so elegant during the crowning... and Aragorn was so ying! =)
there was this scene when Frodo was like "Gimme the ring!!" and Sam hesitated before returning it...
I was wonderin wat he was thinking....... was it "I am hurt because Frodo still doesn't trust me" or was it "I desire to keep the ring..." =p seemed like it could be either......
Now I shall read the LOTR novel itself to discover the answer... hehe.....

Quite unexpected things happened.... good to hear that Flora's okay.
and then I played unbearably poorly today........... -_-;;
I can't believe it..... a few times the birdie was right in front of me, not even going fast but I swung, hit nothing and the birdie just dropped on the floor. -_-;;
I hope I can play better tomorrow.. my only chance to try out my new racket b4 the break!! =D
I had an interesting switch of identity today with cj.. heheee
It's like. everything said has double meaning.. haha if I say "rojai's so ho" then it means Cj's so ho but then it's also hinting that rojai's so ho.. so that's like saying I'm so ho! hahaha... such ngap gai thing... ro jai find it embarrassing to do. LOL. hahaha j/k

OH man.. I missed my Jan 1st post of 2004!!!!!!!!!
Good thing the NEW blogger allows me to change the time and date of my post.. hek hek hek..
so rewind back to the 1st....
HAPPY NEW YEAR peeps!! =)
OH yea.. one more thing... even tho it's a bit late,

On the first day of this year....
the most remarkable thing that happened would have to be:
My beetle got rear-ended on Cambie St.... -_-;; hahaha
It wasn't really that car's fault too!! It was that STUPID car in front of me.. omg........... that stupid car.. I SO regret that I was too shocked to write down her license plate.... grrr........ $*&#*)($#$..........
So I was at this intersection... and that stupid lady had her left turn signal on... the light turned green.. she stayed put for like 10 seconds.... and then she suddenly decided not to left turn... so I was like "ookay... should cut lanes when I can cuz this driver is kinda crappy.."..... and then b4 I had the chance to cut lanes.. that baga lady suddenly decided to brake hard and left turn like RIGHT before the next intersection.... GRRRR.... so I was like " What the Hell???*brakkkeeee*" and the car behind me was like *braaakeee* *screeech* *BANG*....................
-_-;;................................ they should BAN the "ah mo"s from driving cars!!!!!!!!!!!!! Causing other ppl to pay for her carelessness... *sigh*.......
Anywho... other than that... my first day of 2004 was quite enjoyable.. =D
