SO.. instead.. since I didn't bring $...(-_-;;) Joseph treated me to bb tea (I owe him a drink now)..
AND... I got him to teach me circuits! muhahaha... perfect since he's major in computer as well.. =D

wat I wanted to do was to go play badminton, come back send mom to airport and go home..

and then my dad got pissed.... -_-;; he's pissed cuz I woudln't skip badminton and make my bro wake up..
but here's the situation.. following my plan..
my mom woudln't be bored like hell @ the airport for 4 hours waiting for her flight,
my dad wouldn't have to drive my mom to the airport, not have enuf sleep then be all grumpy the next day,
and I'd get to play badminton.. -_-;;

they kept staring at me weird..... and they're not friendly at all... haha

and it made my heart beat abnormally fast, made my brain run on super high speed for the whole night which made me stay awake for sooo freakin long..
whoooa.... today morning I was STILL hyper from the caffeine....
so I ran from cpsc classroom to cpsc lab (from Lsk to CICSR) with Tracy.. haha
and that made blood rush up to my brain so I was a bit "wing wing dei" throughout the tutorial..
finally i got home and slept and slept and slept... for 5 whole hours.... and the hyperness finally wore out.. -_-;;
craaazy... haven't had a night like this since... one day during Grade 11 summer I think.

Annyway... update for yesterday...
I went shopping wiht my mom in Downtown....=)
It was cool except for the SUPER expensive parking.... $3 for half an hour!? wtf...
such a rip off!!!!! omg..... we had to pay $24 in the end cuz we parked for 4 hours..
$24.. -_-;; that's enough for me to get a new Tshirt!!! >_<
anyhow... I got 2 pairs of jeans from BlueNotes.. hehee... nice...
I need jeans... my old pair has a hole in the ass so i can't wear it....
new half baggy jeans and a hiphugger.... hee......
ALMOST bought this other guy cargo pants too but it was too long....
OHOH wat else did I get..... hee somethin special that u'll see me wearing more often.
I bought a very comfy hairbrush from Body Shop.. hehe it fits right into my palm...
and it has nice soft bristles.... hehe sooo good...
and I also bought the Juice It exfoliating body scrub... cuz it smells good and it was on sale. heh

They weren't playing seriously, but still it was soo funny...
Darryl was waiting for us to finish out game so he can clean up too.. hahahha
and we ended up .. losing... but.. only by 11-14!!! lol... hahaha...
that was the most "wu nao" game I've played I think.. couldn't stop laughing...

From friday thru Sunday midnight...... I was working on my huge cpsc lab...
u see, it's supposed to be a lab that's done with a partner in 2 weeks in normal school time..
now my partner have been.....not very reliable.... and we only have 1 week to finish it..
and since I only left myself with 3 days (i guess I was over estimating my abilities.. =p)
I have been working like hell.................. hahha coding, coding, more coding @_@...
I spent soo much time trying to get this thing to work, and in the end it turned out that I don't even need it...
BUT...... by 2:30PM today..... I finally... almost officially finished the lab (missing some paperworks..)...
I made an email client that actually receives and sends Email!! hehee.. it has a nice interface too =)
YAHHH......... the feeling of accomplishment is always great despite the great amount of effort needed to complete the task =) hahahahah
I emailed the TA to include my partner's name in the lab even tho she did nothing tho.. =p
well... turns out that she has quite a lot of stuff goin on and she had a huge stomach cramp so she didn't even go to the midterm..
and if she gets 0 for this lab she'll probably fail her lab marks, which means she'll fail the course..
ahh.... and I'm not sure if I wanna be the one who will cause her failure, so I half pitied and was half being nice to her...heh
I get this tiny bit of hatefulness inside cuz I had to do all the work, but hey, if I didn't have a partner I'd have to do all the work anyway,
and giving her some extra lab marks doesn't cost me anythin since I have to do the lab for my own marks anyway.
My dad will so disprove of my theory... he'll be like "In unviersity, people look at ranking! not score!!! In real life, people compete against PEOPLE.. they aim to be better than other people, not to achieve a standard score...... "
that's true tho.. but I'm not ready for the real world yet. haha 60% to get into cpsc isn't that hard anyway.
however...I do realize my partner's oweing me a huge favor now and will treat me to free porkchop bun and drink when i go to her stall in the nightmarket. heheh... too bad she's not running an icecream store....
annyhow.. enough about my lab... it's done and over with... WOOHOO...
Then on Sunday midnight... I took 4 hours to review online cpsc notes and Gene's notes...
had another 4 hours of sleep...... had my breakfast at 8:30 and went ahead "darm cho cho" to take the midterm..
hahah DAMN..... SOOO many explaination questions............ this prof is so -_-;;
Cpsc should be problem-solving and coding....... more than memorizing and explaining.. -_-;;
It's been like this thru cpsc 122 and 128...
so now I'm supposed to memorize every single term there is and its use and definition... -_-;;
That's not how cpsc's should be like!! NOoooooooo..................
Well anyhow, I guessed a lot of the questions based on wat I remember approximately from the previous nite..
and finished the test in like 30 minutes (I got to class late, too.. =p haha)
BUT that STUPID middle-east TA...... he is the WORST TA....... omg.....
I asked him "Is there still class after this?" (cuz the midterm is 1 hour but my class is 1.5 hours)...
and he said "Yes there is... " and somethin else I didn't hear.....
so I very stupidly leave my stuff in the room and went outside to wander....
I went back... realized that everyone was leaving... so I asked the UTA again..
and she told me that there's no class after the midterm...... -_-;;
omg...... that instant I felt SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO stupid...................
They told them there's no class b4 the test started or something, but I went in late..
but still... grrr... he must've misinterpreted my question............
Anyhow.. that was my most embarrassing moment of the day......
and I'm done complaining about the midterm.. heh
Then.... the fun comes.. =) ..... after finishing the lab at 2:30... I skipped lunch and went to SRC to play badminton from 3-7PM...
heheee it was fun...... sooo much funnn.. hehehe... I was so awake and energetic...
but I didn't play very well. ><.. haha our first game against the guys was a disaster...

I finally tried the Strawberry Oreo flavor... it doesn't taste that good....original strawberry or oreo tastes better.

and then... Connie and I started getting so sleepy.... @_@... I don't remember much about wat we talked abt @ mac's...I remember the unknown guy talked about playing guitar and telling the weather by lookin at clouds...
I remember paying Kyole for the BBQ... and Mark secretly keeping his nuggets.....
I remember missing a lot of jokes.. -_-;;; and talking about the prank phone call thing... the "Curry Chicken" prank call.. soooo funny..

so now.. I'm home and I'm super tired and exhausted...
but I still insist on bloggin! yah!! heh... it's like a routine now.. just like monday and wednesday SRC badminton....

heh learnt something interesting thru conversation with friends..
some things may seem okay when you're thinking about it,
but just sounds wrong when you say it out...
For example... let's say we're talking about someone that's not there...
and then someone says "We're mean.."
and then I said "At least that person's not here..."
u kno, inside it feels kinda natural.... to care about everyone's feelings and not convey our negative thoughts in front of them.... so we talk behind their backs to vent our frustration...... that is just human nature....
but when you actually say it out....... that just makes it worse........ -_-;; haha

Oh yea... and the unknown guy.. haha he was being nice to me when I played mixed against him and Flora..
I hit a lot of shots that were really out but he still returned them.. hehee
I duno.. it's like... I appreciate him being nice to me (since I'm the weakest player),
but I think that just makes it worse........... hahaha
I think.. when you want to "yeung bor"... u gotta do it.. and make it look like u did it unintentionally....
U gotta give them the sense that ur at least playing at normal pace (not too sun fu or too mellow)...
hmm probably best to try out new moves at these kinda situations... heh
if you play too mellow it seems like ur not respecting your opponents, or the game.. -_-;;
I duno.. that's just wat I think tho... even tho i rarely have to "yeung bor"...
most of the time it's other ppl "yeung ngor bor" so I have a lot of feedback to it. hehe

During the time when I finsihed my midterm and thought I still had to go back to class,
I walked around LSK and felt very weird........... heh
I'd stay in the classroom but everyone who's done left,
I felt a lot of pressure staying in there when everyone else is writing...
so I walked outside... to the washroom....
it's alrite when the washroom's empty, I can stay in there and avoid going bak to the intense classroom,
but that's just pathetic...-_-;; and if someone comes in, I'd have pressure to walk out after pretending to fix my hair or watver...
and then I walked downstairs to the bulletin boards and read some of the posts,
but then people leaving the building after doing the test left me feelin very lost and puzzled...
The thing is I thought I had to go back to class, but I didn't understand why everyone else was just leaving...
(grrr........ that damn TA....... I'm gonna get him back someday)
but bottomline... the feelin of not belonging anywhere is just horrible.......
My most horrible and lost moment of the day... (after that comes the most embarrassing moment..-_-;;)

It's like if u ask me to use it I'll know how to use it, but I just can't explain things well..

Anyhow... the labs aren't hard really....... once you get the stuff then the rest is just typing..
BUT.... I need someone to guide me into the right track........
and quite frankly, our TAs SUCK.... omg... one teaches crappy and one marks mean....
We should SO reflect to the prof that we need a lesser late penalty..
afterall, we only get 2 hours of labtime really.... the other 2 is for tutorial note-taking..
2 hours to ask questions... and the TA sucks so they take forever to get to u and answer one question..
I think it's only fair that they either extend the due date till the end of the next lab.... or lessen the penalty.
=p my excuse but I'm sure many others will agree with me.

After badminton training.... I went to Mark's to BBQ... hehee
soo many ppl there.. Kyl brothers, Karen, Mark, May, Winnie, Joseph, Bonnie, Gina and Juu, and me.. =)
It was fun.. hahaha barbequeing...... playing with fire... and just talking.. hehe
Afterwards BBQ was more fun.. hehee Central style Uno again..
I went from 1st place down to last place.. -_-;; and Kylvin didn't win! he dropped one card!! heheh
mMm... and then there was ice-cream... chocolate rainbow and strawberry... mMmm..
ice-cream is always good.. hehe except I didn't eat the whole bucket. hahaha
Was feeling sorta weird that day....maybe that's why I didn't eat more ice-cream. hehe

annyhow.. after Uno, there was only me, Kyl brothers, Joseph and Winnie left @ Mark's..

And THEN... we found out that Winnie has a stronger arm than ALL of us there.. including the guys... (you guys should be ashamed! hehe)
We did the wrist thing.. and we timed all of us.. hahaa I was the slowest.. =p hehehe
and then we had a tournament!! heheheh it was funny..... we had to roll the string that's tied to some weights... onto a stick..
hehe... with forehand and backhand... I was paired with Kyleon!! hahaha the slowest two.. -_-;;
Kyleon should be paired up with Mark and I should be paired up with Winnie or somethin.. hehehe
Anyway it was fun.. then Mark showed us some magic.. eheheh getting rid of my "fears". hahaha...
pretty cool, pretty cool.. stayed there till like 3AM.. hahaha had to get home in case my dad wakes up..
ahh.. fun stuff! hehe.... need to remind myself to pay Kyleon back for the food tho.. hmmm

And sunday I did nothing in the afternoon...
Sunday was one of those days when I felt like I TOTALLY need a personal laptop..
I was working on my lap in the afternoon in the computer room..
then my bro came in and started watching Spelling Bee National contest...
and somehow he got my whole family addicted to watching it, so I actually didn't do any work at all..
It was pretty cool tho. hahaha There was this grade 3 kid competing with all the other grade 8 kids..
hehe it was impressive, I couldn't spell any of the words aside from "yamamai" and that's only cuz it's japanese. =p
There was also this black girl who had an extreeemely annoying voice.... and she kept on "tor see garn"..
well in the end this not so nerdy looking middle-east kid won. hehehehe good job...
he said he's gonna use the money he won to "buy lots of video games". hahahaha...yeaa way to go..

I got pissed and said sorta loudly "They're never gonna get off anyway, let's go wait for another court"
I think one of the guys heard it and then they gave us the court. hehehe...
I'm mean but hey, they can't hog the court like forever.. =p
The best game tho, was the final game I played with Winnie against Jason and Shao.. hehe
Somehow playing with Winnie is always fun.. hehee she's good at offense and me at defense.. =p
Even tho we lost by a lot I think.. hehehe it was still fun hehee...

OH yea.. I watched a movie on TV.. "Ever After"... hehee
I've been wanting to watch that since wat... 2? 3 years ago? hehe
finally watched it... hehehe it's pretty good... a version of Cinderella....
pretty cool.. even tho I dislike Drew Barrymore, she was pretty good in the movie..
hehee the prince is cute too. hahaha and of course it has a happy ending,
I like happy endings. =) It's a sweet movie.. go watch it!
